@@BuildTheoryZ I’m an SC guy. I swapped my SC300 with a JDM 1JZ-GTE Twin-Turbo but it is now down to just 100PSI compression in cylinder #4. I just purchased a brand new 2JZ-GTE short block from Toyota and I’m going to tackle this one hybrid motor project solo. Is this channel mostly SC content? If so, I’ll go ahead and subscribe because this video was nicely detailed with good camera angles. Should also come in handy if I ever take my UCF20 LS400 out of mothballs.

Balancer delaminates and comes apart in 2, new one is great to do since you got room to wrench on it, special tool needed, but pretty cheap

Hey sir don’t recommend gates belts for the time being… bad batch or something. Bought two back to back recently from gates that ate themselves in less than 500 miles each just stick with AISIN which is p much oem.
