Thank you for your videos about life at Curtis! My son just got accepted into the vocal program, and he'll be starting this autumn. Only, we live in Switzerland, and we weren't able to be at his auditions - and we probably won't be able to come along when he moves in, either. Watching your stuff meant a lot to me - it was almost as good as being there! One question: Can you guys actually cook in your dorm rooms? (I thought I saw a little stove in one of your older videos.)

Great video Aaron! This really did do a lot to dispel some myths I had heard about student life.

Hi Aaron! Your videos are AWESOME by the way and so helpful! Question for you: If a person was a good enough vocalist to get into multiple prestigious summer programs like Tanglewood, Interlochen, Oberlin, MSM, etc. BUT they applied the Mikael Eliason summer program and did NOT get in, do they still have a chance of getting admitted to Curtis as an undergrad? (Put another way: Did you or any of your fellow vocalists currently at Curtis get rejected previously from the Eliason program?) Also: how important is it to come to Curtis for a sample lesson ahead of sending in the prescreening? I know it obviously helps to visit and to get a sense of whether it is a good fit for you and vice versa, but does it hurt not to, especially if you live on the other side of the country and it's not that easy or cheap to make the trip?

Do they offer a semester in the summer, or just fall and spring? And if there is a semester in the summer is it also tuition free?

Hi Aaron, great video. I do have some questions about the music composition program there. Can you refer me to one of your friends who studies composition or maybe one of the teachers? Thanks :D

Are you required to audition live in Curtis?
@hannaframpton73325 жыл бұрын
Yes! If you are a voice major (or other select sections) they'll have a pre-screening and if you pass through that they'll ask for a live audition

Lol but if you don't pay tuition, the university is free by definition .... XD I mean obviously you are going to pay for living and food and stuff, thats not the universities responsibility to pay that for you ...? :'D
