She passed away this Spring. (She was 94 but had an adventurous life in America.) I just listened to your rendition of Bach's second violin concerto at age 13 in Poland and can only recommend that other viewers do the same. For sure I will be following your channel from now.

Amazing! I am reminded of a story I heard about Itzhak Perlman. At the start of a concert, one of Perlman's violin strings broke. The concertmaster offered to trade instruments; Perlman declined. He played the whole piece while revising everything he had practiced on the spot! and in front of an audience. Unbelievable.

I used to make a challenge at the positions, in ma case frets, not positions. U play the piece without touching any note before the determinated fret. So, for instance: if the number is 5 u can use from 5 fret ahead and cant touch 4, 3, 2,1 and 0, this means the end of open string! Not so hard like loose a finger, but its very very very didatical to FORCE u to thing outside fingering even u dont have absolute pitch. And it can be fun AF!!! Try it!!!
