The greatest thing I always see involving 3812 is people think he is still mentally ill when the document is over. It is heavily implied that when 3812 is talking to himself and fully acknowledges his position within the verse aka being the absolute power of the verse, he is already beyond and always could have overcame his issues. It was the fact that his perception was still locked to the idea that while he was ascending the narrative chain passively he could never see it and it was causing him to lose his mind. He could see the changes but he couldn't see himself making them therefore it would start to slowly drive him into further reclusiveness in his schizophrenia. It's even said that at the end of his document he became more docile of course he still disappeared to now actively climb the narrative chain to reach the top when he has already been there. Ben does state that he exists in every reality simultaneously and that means every possible narrative as well every fabric of the verse has 3812 in it. DJKaktus not only made a character that fits into the OP edgy character aesthetic. But he also uses 3812 as a critique of said character, This is a being created by a selfish author who wanted to be better than what he already was. In doing so he created something so utterly powerful it literally superseded everything that the author had wanted to do himself. It is a being who has such immense power and incredible power yet never wanted anything to do with it all he wants to do is live his life to experience things on his own and of his own volition. At the end of the narrative 3812 is a truly free fictional being, nothing within the SCP verse can stop him. Nothing any of the Andrew swans can do will halt his movement, And he is embarking in a journey that will allow him to truly see the beauty and fully experience the horror of the SCP verse. Whereas all of it was forced on to him and it made him go crazy Now he can actually experience it with his power in full control and with his perception actually there. He's already at the top of the verse but his perception isn't there yet which is why he says he can see trillions upon trillions of grains of sand (which is an analogy for the infinite hierarchy of narratives) It's honestly such a good read and it's sad to see that Kaktus gets spammed messages and shit on the power of 3812 rather than the narrative implications and writing process of 3812.
@strider_hiryu8502 жыл бұрын
exactly. sometimes a character or one of their opps is more of a narrative device than a character within a fictional world. they can still be written well as a character, but if the writer wills it; the character will never truly stop being written. pretty sad what's happening to Kaktus, tho. some people need to learn respect.

@@degeneratesupreme860 What are they? I’m not trying to debate I’m honestly just curious and want to learn more! After doing extensive research (admittedly mostly into the scp-verse) I believe it’s safe to say that “Swann’s Proposal” is the strongest being in fiction, at least in my opinion. It’s literally every scp writer and reader (that includes you and I) irl. It’s above fiction and is actually real.
@melffyrabby10092 жыл бұрын
Scp 3812 is probably the strongest scp (for now). While I normally don’t like OP Scps, this one is actually pretty interesting. An entity potentially even stronger than the writers but still cannot overcome it’s mental issues makes for an interesting one. I do think it can still be beat by other scps like the one that can copy abilities (although I don’t remember it’s number, if anyone does plz reply with it). Scp 3812 can probably still be beat by other entities that aren’t in the scp verse though
@Highminded122 жыл бұрын
Saying “stronger than the writers is kinda weird to me” because I mean he’s not gonna pop out of the story and beat us up and everything he does is still controlled by us. But he’s probably the highest level a fictional character could be without being straight up omnipotent.

The Worm devours SCP 3812
@holyzenith22292 жыл бұрын
@@Highminded12 It makes more sense if you remeber that even 4th wall worlds are still a product of fiction, doesn't matter how "realistic" you make them. So, this Ben is as much as a fictional character as any other, therefore his real life creator can stablish that he can be surpassed by SCP 3812. That's why it's impossible to actually determine/create the strongest character in fiction, because someone can always determine that any OP verse is bellow some dimensional/narative/whatever layer, and no one can claim the literal real world as part of their narrative, therefore there's no actual fictional "ceiling" to claim.

@Aaron Bryan Wibowo let me guess, you must have seen the Vs battle wiki? Their scaling of scp is literal bullshit and they love to downplay it just because it doesn't match their dumb calculations, don't use the vs battle wiki cause they already have a notorious reputation in the vs battle community for downplaying and overwanking fictional verses. A baseline universe in scp is outerversal to near boundless cause a single universe already contains an uncountable infinite hierarchy of dimensions, realities, timelines, universes, worlds, conceptual planes, metaphysical backbones, platonic archetypal structures, theory of everything, pataphysical universes, etc. A baseline meta universe is already super high into boundless
@theneverwhere60762 жыл бұрын
@Aaron Bryan Wibowo those definitions depend on pretty much every different battleboarding wiki or forums, hyperversal has been meant to imply higher dimensional or infinite dimensional structures, meanwhile concepts of space, time, death or life dont apply to some of scp universes, so yeah whoever says that scp is only high hyperversal must eat his pills

You should seriously consider making videos about the international branches of the scp wiki, the Japanese and Chinese branches are even more broken than the English branch like Japanese pataphysics department is much more stronger than the English pataphysics department while the Chinese branch is currently known as the strongest branch. Like the PCS foreign office which is an amalgamation of every foundation present in every branch, narrative, multiverse, etc, the Foundation in Scp cn 2758 literally killed SCP-3812 with the Spear of Longinus and blew away all narratives, even the weakest characters in cn branch are casual narrative busters, like Calvin Desmet, who has absolutely zero feats can make entire hierarchies of narratives collapse in Chinese branch, the strongest being in Chinese branch is the Absolute boundless supernormal state which is beyond mathematics and not even SCP-3812 can surpass it not to mention SCP-3812 literally is seen as a joke in Chinese branch

Let's clear something up: 1. SCP 3812 has been thought to be killed, there is pretty much no one on his level of existence who could confirm it, so it might aswell just teleported away like it does usually 2. Calvin Desmet has always been narrative buster in English branch itself, it's just that he could affect "neighbouring narratives" and not higher ones

@@theneverwhere6076 SCP-3812 was confirmed to be terminated in scp cn 2758: *Researcher Zhang Bofeng and SCP-CN-1313-1-Alpha were recovered after SCP-3812 was confirmed to be neutralized, and the narrative layer ruptured on its own shortly after the text effect amplifier was shut down. SCP-CN-1313-1-Alpha was reclassified as Apollyon/Thaumiel, and researcher Zhang Bofeng was awarded a Foundation star.* And the Foundation straight up went and made all narrative ladders collapse

@@Oueenazolatigressgina except in the end foundation claimed none of this happened, and that still took foundation to create tons of narrative layers just to slow 3812 down and use artifacts with some sealed being inside that has been falling through narratives killing tons of 6 dimensional beings in each one of them, and by tons i mean - TONS, killing more amount of beings that amount of atoms in the universe, and in another tale 3812 is revealed to throw the same artifact at another being so he is pretty much alive mind you

@@theneverwhere6076 that was in another canon, in the canon of scp cn 2758, SCP-3812 was confirmed to be terminated, the Gun of Longinus itself is basically malice of the true narrator and not even the pseudo-authors could wipe it out, they were only able to modify it's foundation slightly and change the file entirely, otherwise the Gun of Longinus was left unharmed

@@Oueenazolatigressgina in the end of 2758 it was said nothing from this happened, and in other tale 3812 seems pretty much alive ironically using the same tin rod.
