PROOF that the Orb of Dominance Survived...

Interesting threory. A couple things though: 1. Minecraft Legends is well, a legend. A story slowly obscured over time. There are a couple things we should take note of. Minecraft Legends seems to be a religious story of a hero sent by their gods to stop the greedy piglins. How do we know it is religious? First, the piglins are oddly fitting with the 7 deadly sins. The devourer obviosly represents gluttony. The unbreakable has been said to be the most power hungry, so he could represent greed. The beast has literaly been said to be pridefull, so he represents pride. The great hog has been said to be the toughest, so tough that it is believed he was born from the lava, and therefore represent wrath. We don't know enough about the seer to really say what he represents. Now, ik what you may be thinking, "this is just 5 piglins" which is true, but there is a change they were planning to add more before the game died. Other pieces of evidence is the fact that none of the mounts, except for the horse, has ever appeared anywhere else other than legends, which makes me believe that they could be minecraft's version of mythical beasts. Next, the night beacon. The night beacon seems like it may actually be a corrupted beacon, with its effects actually coming from the pollution of the piglins factories, and the villagers may have put them together thought the beacon caused the pollution, which then eventually became the origin story of the night and the moon. Last, and most importantly, the fact the hosts leave at all highly suggest that they don't even exist to begin with. The hosts left to other worlds and never returned sounds like an answer as to why no one ever actually sees them, and therefore could have little to no use in theorizing. 2. Well that was a long first part. Now, the reason that the dungeons narrator uses the same voice actor as four sight may just be because they like the voice actor lol. 3. You forgot an important detail about the orb's shards, and that is the fact that they had put themselves back together into larger shards, likely being the 6 shards we destroy. 4. The orb of dominance is not its true form, and instead is the heart of ender (vengefull heart of ender may be the closest to its true true form). 5. The narrator is extremly reliable, and has said that we defeated the orb for good after we defeat the heart.

@@GuyllianVanRixtel That is one of the best theories I’ve ever heard! Bravo! Well done!! I do have a few points, but it still stands that this is a glorious theory! First of all, in one of Minecraft legend’s trailers, foresight is telling the legend to someone, which likely means that the legend has been told and retold into something different, but I think that that’s the legend’s new version and the game is what actually happened. Also, I like the idea that the hosts never existed because they never actually did anything, but they did make some structures in the overworld. I do believe that the hosts existed, but I don’t think they were gods, because if they were, they would give more input, like spawning hundred of golems. Instead, I think they were just guardians of Minecraft worlds that stepped in once in a while when things got out of hand. I love this theory, do you mind if I make an entire theory video about it so I can address your entire comment?

@@sboy2044 it’s the end of the orb’s OFFICIAL story. As I proved, the orb is still out there and thriving inside command blocks, right under our noses. Some proof (other than 30+ shards that got away) is that after the final dlc cutscene, there is a redstone golem walking around. In the arch illager novel, the redstone golems are more of statues than golems. They need a master (aka the orb) to even move. The fact that the golem was moving (along with everything else I presented on the video) proves my theory.

@@blueraptorlord What exactly do you mean by “official” in this context? If its story is over, then its story is over. It was said on a Q&A on the official Discord server that “the shards all had a meeting, couldn’t get along, and decided to spread across the overworld.” Since the idea of each of the shards having separate consciousnesses feels weird to me, I’m guessing it’s meant to be figurative and is saying that the Orb started to rebuild itself, but then realized it was a better idea to spread its shards. Even if that’s not the case, the fact that the piece of the Orb that the endermen brought to the End in Echoing Void means it’s also that possibility that that’s where the remains at Obsidian Pinnacle went.

Other theory: The gods in legends have one eye, two eyes and four eyes. What if there Was a fourth god, Ender? He may have created the eyes (that would explain why they are called "eyes of Ender" and not "eyes of the end" and the end portal. He later turned on the other gods, possibly due to corruption from the void, but lost. The orb is either a Fragment of him, a manifestation of his soul or an object that serves as a prison for him. Also the vengeful heart of ender has three eyes on its head that look different from the others, possibly because of Ender being the third god with three eyes. This would also explain that the orb talks and its powers. In the book it also said that the arch illager, when he touched the orb, looked at the land from above, but not through his eyes, through the eyes of a god. Btw. most of this isnt my original idea and is from Xantrix, a minecraft KZbinr.

I like the theory! I'm not sure that the hosts are really "gods" because they need to use tools like the flames of creation to make golems and the "lute" to control the allays. If they were on some plane of existence higher then players, they could just do it without anything. Also, the vengeful heart of ender has eyes all over it. A cool theory, but there are implications the orb, or what it is actually called is "The Heart of Ender" is something far beyond that of the hosts. One of my favorite theories is that is the heart that fell out of an evil god, and corrupts the Overworld and Nether.

According to a cannon novel, the heart of ender is the orb of dominance in its purest form. I don’t think that gods exist in Minecraft, much less the hosts being gods. I do love the theory that the orb of dominance is far beyond the hosts. A Frankenstein’s monster scenario where they accidentally created the overworld’s greatest threat. Thank you for commenting :D

I recommend you using the new wiki, because the part of the orb of dominance "emerging from a portal between worlds and making war and such" was not actually in The Rise of the Arch-Illager, it was something someone made up or just assumed. The new wiki tells all we currently know about the orb of dominance before Minecraft Dungeons, being at the hands of The Seer and being used to corrupt a beacon, according to the legend.

I did use the new wiki, but upon re-reading the novel I did find out that the words "emerging from a portal between worlds" were not in it. Although, apparently the orb's origins are in other cannon graphic novels, which I was surprised to find there are a lot of them! @blueraptorlord as far i concern, the orb is only ever present in the rise of the arch-illager. According to the author, Matt Forbeck, he been told all other novels takes place in their own minecraft worlds, with the rise of the arch-illager being the only novel canon to the overall franchise.

Exactly! What I think also happened, is that the orb stopped causing destruction because it went into hiding, because as seen in the end cutscene after the end dlc, there is a redstone golem walking around. In the rise of the arch illager novel, the redstone golems are less of golems, and more of statues that you can command. They can't even move without something controlling them, which is proof that many pieces of the orb are still out there. Thank you for watching!

@@blueraptorlord what if each trial spawner has a tiny piece of the centre of the orb of dominance which was put into the spawners so then the ancient builders could make their own custom mobs which would be something not even command block can do ordinary but the entire orb can in a short word I believe that the ancient builders built the trial spawners with a tiny bit of the centre of the orb of dominance to Teach the survivors how to fight against the wither

Perhaps the orb knew it would be defeated by the player in that last moment before it exploded (mc dungeons) and allowed itself to be exploded into many pieces so it had a greater chance (and succeeded) in staying alive

Orb of Dominace propably was a mini prision for Heart of Ender or became corrupted by it because it has a big connections to the End dimension. Also Orb of Dominace and Arch-Illager reminds me a lot of Sauron's ring and Gollum.

The glowing pink cubes inside Vengeful Heart of Ender’s segment resemble the Orb, and in its death cutscene, a piece of one of the cubes breaks off, with the shape of the piece looking similar to the chunk of the Orb that was brought to the End. Thus, the Heart likely _is_ the Orb, rather than being trapped inside of it

I actually did that for a separate vid (that was too laggy to use the footage :( ) but I did look into a wither storm theory. Unfortunately, the wither storm was introduced in minecraft story mode, which is a separate game that is not cannon, and there's no evidence that the wither storm exists (or existed) in the base game. (although a wither storm theory would be my favorite theory I've ever made)
