Except its a total myth. If you actually watch for it, wrestlers don't go through tables they set up themselves any more often than they go through ones set up by their opponents. It's just a weird idea that people came up with and for some reason has stuck around. Some people said it had something to do with safety, that "if you're gonna go through a table, you wanna be the one to set it up in case anything goes wrong." This doesn't really make sense of a number of levels, since tables have never been particularly dangerous part of wrestling and there are really no major injuries associated with table spots where the setup of the table was to blame, and taking care of your opponent is such a basic part of wrestling that - outside of a few egregious examples, maybe - nobody is so distrusting as to need to set up their own tables.

Have you repeatedly, loudly and aggressively told her that it's all fake when she has the nerve. No, the sheer huberous to enjoy it?? I know you're probably a fan too, but you, me and the rest of the fanbase know full well that, should a fan be spotted in the wild (alone or in a group), people HAVE to let that fan know how fake it is. Not just that though, we all have a duty and must make sure that, when you do say it's fake, you need to do it as if you're the first and only person to have ever done so, after discovering that professional wrestling is actually scripted! Honestly, it is. When they go out, they aren't actually hitting each other. They are pretending. To dive deeper though, when a match is over and one of the wrestlers is declared as the "winner" ... Don't believe it! They actually already knew who was going to win before they even got in the ring! If she's going to be a fan, you need to treat her like one. Treat her the same way as everybody else. 😂😂😂😂

Sami Zayn's blue thunder bomb "the least devastating move in all of sports entertainment" Simon Miller started calling it that, in contrast to "the most devastating move in all of sports entertainment.. the rollup" because Sami NEVER won with that move, then he got that one pinfall win with the blue thunder bomb and it was hilarious.. but now it is back to being "the least devastating move in all of sports entertainment"

Some people won't get how this channel exerts effort to collect all those footages. It's not as easy as searching KZbin for "Wrestling 9 Count Out" or something. They really did their digging. And on the first trope, they even went the extra mile to collect footages from the false finishes and with the same superstar, a rare occurrence when the move did finish the match. What a channel.

I've noticed that countouts are slower now in days than they were back in the Hulkamania era. Back then the ref counted faster. And it's also the reason why allot of matches ended in count out. But now in days when the referee does make the ten count. They wait for a few seconds after each count. And when the ref reaches 9. They wait a few seconds longer.

a lot of more-recent "False Finishes" have the failed pin be such a surprise, even though it was only like the 5th move of the match...im fine with having early pin-attempts, and plenty of 2-counts, but all im saying is to tone down the 'selling'...like, if the pinning wrestler made a face that was more like "yeah, i figured itd take more than That to win..." instead of the usual "HOW DID YOU KICK OUT OF THAT IRISH WHIP?!"

A more recent cliche is a wrestler getting tossed out of the ring early into a match. Chances are it's going to lead to the person inside hitting a dive outside of the ring. Adding onto that, huddles of people standing together, resulting in someone diving on top of them all.

The 'Go Home Math' theory has to be the most overblown thing in wrestling history. Every time you see it happen, you think it happens every time but it doesn't. A better trope are dives to the outside NEVER missing. There supposed to be high risk but no one wants to splat to the outside so the opponent simply never dodges. It's just lame.
