One thing that Mace does for Queen Amidala is he makes the Bane counter SIGNIFICANTLY harder, which is what most people use to beat Queen Amidala a lot of the time. He passes around so much foresight that Bane just can't really get anywhere

SEE was also my first GL. Because he is not the greatest GL against other GLs except JMLS I really had to learn a lot of the other character's mechanics to be able to use him properly and beat other GLs. Thanks to that I became better at the game.

As much as I dislike ships, being a pilot increases a character's long-term viability. BAM and Piett are the best examples since they are the key parts of the Executor fleet which is only getting stronger, but I'd give a mention to Han Solo. Towards the end-game his squad impact decreases (CLS and BAM are decent teams, but not meta defining late game), but Shoots First is very a unique effect that can solve some puzzles in Galactic Challenges/Conquest, and his Falcon is always going to be relevant.

Love Malak in conquest. Also did the no leader feat with Malak/Bane. Also a few other feats where toons had to survive by using VV disk which puts the mark on him, gets everyone feared and I could kill off everyone before they killed my flimsy Marroks, Shins, GMs and other Morgans 😅

Interesting list, i understand the reasoning behind them, but i disagree with a lot of them because of simple principle that many of these characters (or their kits, yes Mace would not be on the list without his rework) were not in the game even for the half of its existence. How you can call CRex/Cal Timeless, when they are in game for less then 1/4th of game life span? They didnt have a time to prove they are timeless yet. Just for info from newest to oldest. CRex (6.2023), Cal (3.2023), Windu (11.2015, but rework 3.2022), Mando (12.2020), Gideon (12.2020), Piett (8.2020), (Malak 4.2019), Jango (9.2018), KRU (11.2017), R2 (5.2017).

Yeah I think this boils down to what I meant by "timeless". This wasn't meant to be a video about launch game characters who have never received a rework who have always been useful. More so characters that are useful regardless of the amount of time you have been playing. It's aimed to provide a list of characters people can feel comfortable investing in because they are not going anywhere.

@@CalvinAwesome I get that, but within first minute the intro goes about these characters that stood the test of time, just doesn't feel right with at least CAL or CRex. It is just too early for them. Going for example with GK or Thrawn would to me feel way better, but yea still good video and plenty of good reasons. (My analytic part of brain just often focus on details like this without rest of it having much to say :D)
