I expect it to be more a planet in TB (maybe to get character shards of Hemlock). I expect the next raid will be waves of nightbrothers with GLAT as the meta

Boss can be the lead and have a unique that not only juices up delta squad but also calls out tarful. They rescue him in the game and I think it would be a fun way to make one of the wookies usable! I’m thinking tarful would get a massive boost to health/protection and be a taunting tank!

If we get a zilo beast raid i hope it has transitions and phases like sith trio, tank, and cpit that isnt guild participation to phase them, but for a personal/individual to phase and more toned down. These transitions were really cool and added more immersion and fun.

The other downside of the supposed Peridia raid is there isn't enough character depth in game to support engagement without CG taking some serious liberties and creative license. Or they say these are the 5 teams of three you have to use.

Keep fighting the good fight Calvin! Haters gonna hate! The way I see it Peridea is becoming less and less likely, not Zillow Beast. Next week give or take ALL of the Ahsoka toons will be farmeable. The longer a Peridea raid takes, the less people will need to spend to rush for readiness. Zillow, or any other reasonable raid option, doesn't have to drop with New BB. It could come a bit after. Especially if they are tying the raid to multiple Eras like you suggest.

Okay, I got some more copium. You said they were characters from old video games, which (while true) is not everything. The whole squad also appeared in CW S3, so they're all confirmed canon. And to bring some very personal copium into the mix, Gregor also was a Clone Commando, so maybe he could be integrated into that era?

I had a horrible thought yesterday, what if the raid end up becoming Acolyte themed, where you have to attack the witches convent on the dam, then once you get through waves of witches, you have a boss styled fight v the stranger, would be a way of them getting people to buy the acolyte toons when they eventually come in

I had to double up on the tin foil for that one! Give us a new raid, and attach a character release to it, I want shards! Old raids were so fun building characters for raids, even sections of it. Nothing in this game is as satisfying as the feeling of soloing the Rancor.

The only thing o really strongly dosagree with is that i heavily suspect that the next era is going to be OT / Andor themed. Andor S2 drops in late April and we only got one character from the first season, it was an unexpectedly big hit for them, so it would make sense for them to want to go all-out on the second go around in the same way that they did for something like Ahsoka. Just my 2c but i have a hard time seeing them go grom Bad Batch (clone wars spinoff clone troopers) to Delta Squad (clone wars era video game clone troopers) with nothing in between that would break up the "monotony" of basically ten clone releases in a row.

Yeah the speculation heavily relies on what the next era is, of which we just don't know. I'd be a little shocked if we had any andor S2 content come out for the next era though as CG almost never releases content that quickly from shows. I also don't think it's a problem for them to do 10 releases from BB in a row, they did more than that with Ahsoka

I think Boss doesnt necessarily need to be the lead as Shakti has a clone lead, but if Boss is the lead I think a good 5th man would be Gregor from the Clone Wars animated series.

It's probably the best normal comp yeah. Malicos arguably makes it slightly better if Maul can delete Bo cause he prevents revives. But it's an expensive option to maybe stop one counter

I think it’s 1000 times more likely that there was supposed to be a legendary event at the end of this era and it got cut so they can focus more on getting the new raid out in a delayed but still reasonable time frame. Yeah I don't agree at all. The raid cadence timeline would line up one right in that era. It would also seem really odd to say a "journey guide character" or "an event" like he did if they were one in the same like you're interpreting. If an event is distinct from raid then what is an event? In the last "event" is a blanket term for AB, raid, or really and content at all. Also, delayed but reasonable timeline would be exactly July. Do you think it's end of the year so they full on double the cadence?

@@CalvinAwesome i mean just speaking in terms of the in game language: “guild events” “solo events” and “guild raids” are 3 different buckets, so I’d say yeah raid =/= event per CG’s language. Given the raid cadence of “8-9” months being their original intent and 7 months being what we actually got for the last 2, Feb seemed like the clear target date for a new raid (maybe March) which they obviously missed. Seems to me like they scrapped whatever other “event” was associated with this era to have all hands on deck to finish the raid. If Feb/March was the target date and it gets pushed to July that’s a very significant delay. Honestly this whole comment kinda just reads like compounding even more copium to the video. Yes, Delta Squad would be cool, but this has gone well past even Ahnald levels of speculation

Oh it's 1000% compounding copium, I just don't agree with your points. The original raid time was likely supposed to be Mar/Apr, and July is a big jump but I don't see them launching a raid mid era randomly with no way to monetize with new characters. FWIW raids have been referred to as "events" multiple times by the devs in forum posts.
