If yer going to put your lid on your gloves on the floor then put the gloves palm up not palm down .... if you get grit on the palms of your gloves its real easy to damage your paintwork with it if you then put your gloved hand on the tank at any point 😉

I have a 'hack' that works very well. When removing decals, heat them first with a hair dryer. Wave a hair dryer over the decals and they will become soft, and peel right off in one piece, and leave very little glue behind. (But do NOT use a heat-gun as it will damage the paint.) A hair dryer works wonders.

You can hold the ice cream tub to the tank by putting a decent magnet in the tub first, because you know that as soon as the tub is full, an elbow will send everything crashing to the floor.

Hacks that all riders can benefit from, great job CC! 👍🏻
@SuperCultosaurus4 жыл бұрын
I liked all of your hacks, they're very handy. However, for the first one, I would recommend either a different option, or and addition. Years ago, I got myself a magnetized tray, two in fact, a large and a small. Yes, there is a cost, but metal parts don't get lost. The addition I might recommend is to find some sort of strong magnet that you can secure to your ice cream tub. There's nothing worse than kicking or dropping your container of parts, as it sits precariously on your motorcycle seat, and losing most of them. Yes, put the lid on and cutting a hole in it is a nice trip back to the hack. Just an idea.

Came up with the selfmade chinskirt years ago and it changed my life. The few people I got convinced of trying it said the same. Cheap helmets are sadly the go to in South America. I since have started to value my safety more, and better helmets mostly aren´t in need of this DIY upgrade.

Most of the hacks I already knew, and even use some of them, such as the gloves on the ground, the sanitizer for cleaning, toothbrush, spanner. But I probably will use an old t-shirt to make a chin skirt for my other helmet, which didn't come with one. Love your videos!!! please keep them coming. They are very creative, beautiful lighting and imaging, informative, and very useful!

Hey just watched 3 of your videos! Fun stuff! Cool trick I learned from the race track for cleaning your fairings, tank, helmet etc.... instead of the expensive plastics cleaner- use LEMON PLEDGE and a micro fiber cloth - just as effective and 1/10 the price! Also, spinning the bike 180!degrees on the kick stand- super helpful for parking/maneuvering . Keep it up!

If you still have your passenger pegs you could use those as a very secure helmet hanger. Flip the peg down, hang the helmet onto it by the chin strap, flip it back up. That helmet is not going anywhere.

Sub and like. My first bike - you needed wrenches to keep the goblins away. Straight screw driver and a 1/2 in - english Triumph wrench. It was a 70 Tiger 650. About every 200 miles - you had to pull over and pull the bowl off the single carb. Dump the rust and put it back on. Jets were always fine. You would know when to pull over - as she would not go over 50 mph - but she idled fine. 10 Min and you were rolling. Cheers.

Just stumbled over your channel when browsing for bike content. You do great videos with useful hacks and a nice touch of humour. Funnily enough I usually spend my summer holidays in Cornwall and always have a ride on my motorcycle brought over by trailer (from Switzerland) trough Dartmoor and its surrounding locations. On this video I saw the weather information depicted on your mobile phone located for Okehampton. So now its clear why I can understand your English so easily. If you ever come across on the road with a biker greeting you by the continental style it might be me.
