@6:30 The Dagobah Cave bit has a bit more going on than that. People generally miss it but Yoda really meant the cave only had what Luke brought with him: weapons and aggression. And indeed it is Luke, not the Luke-Vader specter, who is also the one to draw his lightsaber first and aggressively begin a duel. I think Luke even draws his saber first against Vader later on Cloud City too. A stark contrast from his behavior in Return of the Jedi, which ultimately shows his growth as a Jedi between the 2 films.

4:51 Just gotta say. I REALLY enjoyed The Island. Nutty? Weird? Directed by Michael Bay? (the man responsible for IQ-lowering movies with scripts written by 15 year olds who only want to see girls, guns, cars, massive destruction, CGI, and/or explosions) All yes. And yet, it was an impressive story with a great plot twist, and a couple of really good performances. Why he REFUSES to bring to life more stories that are at least HALF as intelligent as this one is a mystery to me.

Yes he killed copies of himself but in the end he was stopped he couldn't finish his plan so which version of people who did should he replaced. Your right it's similar but just not quite what the video was about.
