I know this video is ancient, but I thought it was as good a place as any to put this. Thank you, LPL. I'm not into locksport, this isn't my 'thing' at all besides a passing curiosity on how locks work. But your consistent, high quality work, and informative, friendly demeanour has kept me interested long past when most passing fancies normally disappear. Furthermore, those qualities also give your videos a comforting, relaxing effect that I've been needing late at night recently. Though I am sure it is not the intent of the videos, having them on at night has, for me, helped stave off some pretty serious night terrors and improved my sleep quality significantly. That's all my comment, sorry it was long and rambling, but as always, have a nice day.

Crazy how the so called hardcore fans don't come to watch the older videos... Witnessing the birth of a legend, even with delay, is something very pure... Thx LPL

Man this lock has been driving me nuts for about a month. Progressivly picked up to 4 pins on the front and only to 3 from the back. So easy to overset outers. You make this look so easy!

Thank you VERY much. I'm learning dimples now. I think the precision in the manufacturing make some aspects easier on the Mul-T-Lock's compared to shoddy manufacturing in regular pin and tumbler where it makes it hard to feel what you are actually dealing with. Thanks again.

just saying this is the first time that he say "and as alaways have a nice day"

looool xD I was just curious if that was 'and have a nice day' before he started saying 'as always' :D edit: on the number [9] he said just 'have a nice day!'

You have done a couple of cutaway videos showing lock and how to pick them. I would love for you to do a cutaway video with a pin-in-pin lock, where you replace the outside of the pin with a perpex tube, so we can see the interaction between the inside and outside pins, with both key use and with picking.

Real nice picking. Nice looking pins.

Texas Jim Thanks... but it's easy compared to the latest challenge locks you sent me. I've gotten a few "opens," but they always seem to be by accident. I'm still working to unlock their secrets. They are forcing me to up my game. Thanks again.

Excellent picking!!! I wonder are you able to pick the any of the newer modes too??? I think the newer ones have some kind of slider inside as well as the pin in pin....Great video
@lockpickinglawyer9 жыл бұрын
+CopLock Thanks... this one is a brand new, current production lock. But I know what you mean. The MT5 and MT5+ are much, much harder than the classic and interactive. I have an MT5+ and I've picked the sliders alone (pins removed), and the pins alone (sliders removed), but never together. I have another MT5 that I've never opened.

Hang in there...I'm sure you'll get it...you're quite skilled. I'm doing the same thing with ASSA 6000....I have 2 of them....One minus side pins....One minus key/driver pins....I'll get it fully pinned one day...I hope...Lol

Hi, thanks for the videos, I am in the process of chosing new locks for my doors and your videos are very informative. I have a question though: on my doors, I need to make two full rotations of the key to unlock the deadbolts. My question is -- when you pick a lock will the barrel make two full rotations or would you need to pick again each time you make one rotation? Sorry if it's a dumb question, and thanks again.
@lockpickinglawyer7 жыл бұрын
With most locks, two full rotations usually requires you to pick the lock twice. You can try to use a spinner to avoid that, but success rates with them are usually spotty... particularly with MTL's.

There is 1 row of pins. How can you first pick the outer pins and then the inner pins?
