Exercise 10 is my favourite of all, you get to know why you like the songs you like and it paves a way for you to recreate what you enjoy😊

Great excercises!! I immediately signed up to soundgym and realised that my EQ hearing is very bad - gotta work on that. Love exercises 3 & 4, they especially get you started with producing or songwriting but also increase your musical knowledge and piano skills at the same time. 6 is also really good to get a song started or improve a song and gets you to know you daw and FX way better. Thanks for putting all these together!

Some real good suggestions on this list and the important part doing the one your focusing on EVERY day. I'd for three to four weeks then let it go and move to another tip. Do some sort of creativity exercise everyday even if only for ten minutes.

Very refreshing way of approaching learning production skills. Are you active in education as well by any chance?

A question about the first one. Is any song that you can get the wav good to practice with or is there a specific reason you were advocating for the ones from that website you mentioned?
@musicbyplv5 күн бұрын
Yes! Actual wav files will have a much better audio quality to analyze rather than something extracted from a KZbin video. That's why :) And it supports fellow artists too!
