I love to use osteo striga with the 8th build because it makes the loop of killing suspended enemies to gain class ability energy to use my barricade again and again as long as I have enemies to suspend. It also helps with thread of generation because the tick damage of the poison along with the active damage of the gun when you’re shooting makes my grenade come back in like 15 seconds

I mainly use strand guns with that build since one of the artifact mods makes enemies suspend when i hit them with a tangle i shot with strand and another that increases the damage and blast radius to ludicrous sizes. And if you get the fragment that makes your suspends last longer you can keep stunning and suspend nearly every champion

on the Verity's Brow build, you could use Grapple nade for faster cd and spawn three threadlings + two orbs by using heavy handed and firepower on gloves

I've been tinkering with the Scorch into Weighted Knife Build to just cause endless Ignitions. It's over taken Caliban's hand and Amankara as my favourite at the moment. I thought about a while ago but thought it wouldn't be strong so never bothered. But then Plunder said use Skyburners Oath and it clicked because I was trying to do it all with Incandescent so when Tommy Matchbook gets scorch I might try that as well

Use the Fragments that give Class energy on applying Scorch, Bigger Ignite, Scorch Kills give Firespite and Melee energy, Radiant on Melee and Restoration with Firespite Shoot Skyburner ONCE throw Knife and dogde near enemy to get two knifes back. Get utility Kickstart and Energy on Orb Pick up. Class and Grenade Energy on Melee damage and Orb on Melee Kill. Use Healing Grenade. You Can even use Amankara and Use One weighted Knife

I use Nezerec’s Sin with the Voidwalker build, and you can get your super back really fast with it. Also, the volatile rounds pair really nice with new Void Exotic Machine Gun from this season.

Kickstarts have an interesting energy refund distribution that is directly correlated to your available Armor Charge. Percentages vary, but at 3 Kickstart Mods and 3 Charged Up mods with maximum stacks of Charge one is only refunded 47% of their grenade energy. 3 Charged Ups and 1 Kickstart Mod is approximately 42% of one's energy. For the most part, energy distributions are only around an 8% Differential throughout. 1 Kickstart+1 Charged Up (and maximum stacks) is approximately 36% of one's ability energy, and while that may seem menial, it frees up mod slots for more important interactions (Firepower, Heavy Handed, Bolstering, Resistances, Reserves, etc).

Good video but one thing. NEVER USE THE KICKSTARTS if you are using any blue mods like the surges. The yellow kickstarts and such ALWAYS cancel out the blue ones leaving the blues literally useless .

For the third build, instead of solace I actually prefer ember of torches to both get some more value from my melee and fit the near constant radiant, since empyrean increases the duration of both restoration and radiant. Combine this with roaring flames and, if you play it right, basically get both constant restoration and damage boost on everything. That’s just me tho, tho if you like to go super aggressive like I do, I’d recommend it, provides both the dps and sustain to really rampage. If you play it right you both have enough sustain to survive rampaging in energy lines, and the ability dps to practically Insta kill a lot of minor bosses and enough aoe damage to quickly clear crowds. Not to mention your guns get stronger for even more rampage ability. It’s a minor change from the bud sure, but it sure feels like a bug change if you ask me, tho too be fair, most of this stuff works with the 3rd build, but honestly with empyrean if you play it right, solace is kind of a waste, and I don’t know about you, but near constant radiance on top of the already existing near constant restoration sounds a heck of a lot better to me. Just a recommendation tho, do whatever works for you, tho I would recommend at least trying it.

first build the bonus damage that is given from death throes doesn't apply to the threading grenade when you consume it because it is no longer a grenade, you need to throw it

Shoot Necrotic grips w/ osteo strega is what I use for my warlock strand build. The warlock strand melee pairs greatly with the necrotic grips. Pretty much what every warlock is using these days. Definitely like to give the first one you mentioned a try. Always looking to expand.

I like your stand build but running kephris horn will send a solar wave out and with your threadlings. The solar wave does damage going out and when it comes back. Will most likely kill anything caught in your threads

Every time you see a KZbinr make a video about Liar’s Handshake, you can tell they don’t use it much, since they never mention the fact that it’s bugged and won’t trigger most of the time if you’re using Lethal Current with it. I miss being able to use the Handshake, it was so fun 😔.

It's not "bugged" per se, but the buff goes to the jolt so in the end the own build kill the exotic. I was about to mention that for Liar's and while I do find it sad that Liar's is barely worth since it put you in so much danger that you're better off running Cowl to help you survive. On top of that, 1-2 Punch is severely reduced on Liar's while doing full damage with cowl.

@@Ranger74352 Bug? No. Bad coding? Not really. The thing is, when you activate cross counter, you'll activate Jolt just after, eating the buff from the exotic. So to use it properly, you'd need to NOT use Jolt which would make no sense in an Arc build. The coding is working properly, but it should be changed nonetheless. There's actually zero reason running Liar's over Cowl because the only place where Liar's would go over Cowl is on Champions. And even there, it's fairly risky. You can just stun the boss and 12P combo and done.

For you strand titan build I run a similar one and u do not need the fragment that when u pick a orb it gives u woven cause with the exotic when u suspend things it gives u the same buff so there’s no point since ur always suspending things tbh

For the second build, I believe that combining 1-2 punch with liar's handshake actually gives less damage than running only liar's handshake. I remember seeing someone do the math on it, but correct me if I'm wrong

That’s not how it works, it just gives less damage than it used to before the nerf. 1-2 punch is still good with Liar’s. The real damage loss comes from the bug Liar’s has had ever since Arc 3.0 that prevents you from triggering the empowered punch most of the time after you trigger Lethal Current. It sucks that Bungie still won’t fix it, because it’s the main thing holding it back, and making Assassin’s Cowl the better exotic by default 😔.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is there like a secret cooldown on how many times gamblers dodge can replenish your melee? Reason I ask is because I can probably go up to like 6 or 7 dodges before it doesn’t work up to like 3 times in a row. This happens on pretty much all subclasses to me.

I love how one of these builds has already been nerfed and another one is soon for the chopping block... really hope starfire doesn't get hit 'too hard' cause it was hot garbage before and shouldn't need to be sent back there... I really don't see why a build that takes an exotic and 12+ mods equipped is not what they want us to use... like isn't that the whole point of all their "buildcrafting" buzz word talk? they want us to make builds like this then nerf them in a month after they're discovered... like wth?

Warlocks do have on demand anti barrier, in fact it can be for the whole team its called radiance other than that small note. Great video. 10/10 helpfulness

It is not so reliable. You may either have no enemy to melee against(barrier champion will deflect the melee), radiance will be expired if you melee too early to prevent 1st problem happening, or you might just not have the melee in time. If you fail to melt the barrier champ within the first stun, you are fucked.

Personally I feel it’s not always at hand when you need it most when a barrier appears. Unless you always time it correctly and know when a barrier is going to be around I prefer to have a dedicated option to help break their shield

I always found the devour voidwalker build to be kinda meh at higher tier content, where you aren't getting kills as quickly. Running old gods instead of devour, as well as the grenade damage gains class ability energy, and some bomber perks, and although not as good, it allows you to be less reliant on kills, and just go back and forth between class ability and grenade, popping off some arbelist shots in between, on the weakened enemy.

How do you work in survivability into this build with no devour? I can't argue that child is useful to weaken and charge grenades, but devour let's you tank everything as long as you get one kill with void.

@@goodscrimshaw6583 that's exactly why I find devour kind of mediocre in higher end content, especially under leveled, you have to rely on getting consistent kills to have any reliable survivability or damage. With this setup and decent recovery, you can have your rift up close to 100% of the time without needing any kills, that's pretty survivable if you are good at placing it. It's also worth mentioning you can get your rift back even faster if you kill enemies effected by your void soul.

Just so you know. Bungie took narcotic gloves out of the game entirely and they also banned them from being used in raids, dungeons and any content. Just in case you already have them. They said they found a flaw with the gauntlets. I'm guessing it was the poison combo.

That strand titan build is arguably the best build in the entire game right now. SO unbelievably strong in endgame. Unlimited suspensions is extremely powerful. Almost as good as arc titan two seasons ago and that’s saying something. Only starfire comes close imo

It definitely makes things easy but its also a lot of fun in ad-dense content to see everything just exploding. I solo flawless'd Avalon with that void hunter build, funnelweb and retrofit and had fun the whole time :) Content like Avalon or the seasonal activity where so many things have void shields also adds to the mix when you pick up Shattered Orbs from the artifact this season. Definitely broken but its fun to be a little power hungry once in a while!
