I'd love for FCPX plugins to be handled file/installation/activation-wise in a completely different way. I'd also love FCPX to be able to store plugins used in a project with the project. Something like the way InDesign handles fonts/font-activation and is able to auto-activate them when needed on a per project basis.

Another great video. I have/use Add Motion but I really hate that there is no out animation capability. It was a big disappointment after buying it.

Hmm not sure I completely understand. Usually to do an out animation, I just change the animation from A to B, over to B - A and that essentially reverses the animation. Hoping that helps!

@@TheFinalCutBro If you have an object that you want to come into the frame, hang a bit and then go out of the frame it's not possible - or am I missing something? Add Motion animations automatically start at the beginning of the clip they're applied to, right? the only way I've done it is to cut the clip into two pieces and add the exit animation to the second clip.

@@MattSpaugh oh I gotcha! Yeah it’s only possible with cuts. That’s more so a limitation with Motion templates than anything unfortunately. If you want to create something that has a 10 second duration possibility (like AddMotion has) then unfortunately the user would have to make their clip at least 10 seconds long. It doesn’t matter how long the user sets the build in animation, it still has to wait 10 seconds for the intro to finish, because Motion can’t deal with it for some weird reason haha. Would love for Apple to implement a fix that makes it so intro/outro animations can be dynamic lengths.

@@TheFinalCutBro I'm still amazed that FCPX still does not have a way to adjust the ease on animations - its the only reason I use Add Motion. It's so simple even Premiere can do it.
