Thanks a lot for another really great video Kengo ! I have not finished watching it, but I already want to add some comments: - For packing, as a woman, I would suggest that you bring your things (tampons / pads) that you need during menstruation. I cant find the things I need in Japan (for example, no reasonable pads for the nights during my period), and its so much easier, if I bring them from home - for accommodation, my most important choice is always the location. Secondly, I also try to choose a japanese hotel or hotel chain and not something like hilton. My favorite chain is Dormy Inn, as they are not expensive and have onsen and other benefits. If you have more money, Mitsui Garden is also great. I also like Toyoku Inn and Nishitetsu, but I will always favor the two other chains before.

Thank you for the great adivice for other female travelers! That is really helpful as I have no idea. Yes, it's always fun to have a publich bath in business hotels. Even in the same chain, the hotel amenity is different so it's always good to have options of brands. Thank you again for watching and leaving a comment.

You should also really stay in a Ryokan (a traditional japanese inn) for at least 2 nights during your stay in Japan. Choose a japanese room, where you sleep on a futon on tatami mats. Most Ryokan have onsen, and have halfboard included. Be prepared for a lot of amazing traditional food ! There is usually no or not much englisch spoken (and I dont speak japanese), but that has never been a problem for me.

My wife and I used separate SIM cards this time around and we loved them. Previously, we had gone with a pocket wi-fi, and while it was nice enough, the proximity on the mobile hot spot was very small, so we needed to stay very close together. The pocket wi-fi that we got was also not as fast as advertised, I'm pretty sure that we were given a different or faulty unit, but the pocket wifi experience had us try out SIM cards and the difference is night and day! Way faster speeds than a mobile hot spot, no need to stay within a few feet of any device and no need to worry about returning your SIM card since it just automatically deactivates after the amount of time that you purchased it for has passed!!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with eSIM and Pocket WiFi. The real experience is always precious and the most helpful.

Kengo-San, another great video, some really good tips there. As a tall and broad gaijin with big feet your point about the clothing/shoe situation is definitely something I agree with. Don't expect to be able to buy larger clothes/shoes easily, even in Tokyo or Osaka. Thanks again 👍
