I'm sure glad I live here in Washington State so I can see more than just these attractions found along the highways. I have hiked over 500 trails through out this state and you have not even begun to see the beauty of this state. Seven Lakes Basin Trail behind Sol Duc Falls is one of the most beautiful hikes in all of Olympic National Park/Wilderness. Just so you know Staircase Falls Trail and Park entrance is actually packed on weekends in the Summer.

Growing up in Washington, we know that the Olympic National Park is fabulous! We did a video that actually praised it as the best National Park in America. I'm glad you were able to visit and hope you get a chance to come back and spend a little more time exploring. Like so many of our great National Parks, the Olympic National Park is huge, and it takes time and planning to experience its beauty. Thank you for sharing your adventures and we look forward to seeing your future videos.

Nice job showcasing Olympic! It's such a shame that you didn't get great views from Hurricane Ridge, but it looks like everything else was lovely. The diversity of terrain at Olympic has got to be amongst the highest of any national park. Keep up the awesome work! We know well how much effort it takes to plan, film, and edit good videos, far more than most realize!

Wow! Another fantastic adventure, throughout a very unique and incredibly scenic national park. Thank you so much for all of the very entertaining stops along your tour. These national park videos have really been a tremendous nostalgic memory for me from my much younger days! I was very fortunate to spend nearly an entire summer in the Seattle area during my late 20's, so the Olympic Natl. Park was a favorite place to explore regularly on the weekends. Can't wait to see what's next! Cheers!!!

I am thrilled to see you visit Olympic! Because we’re rather remote, many RV YT channels skip us by. We live just up the road from the visitors center near the entrance to the road to Hurricane. You hit so many of my favorite places - the Elwha valley, Lake Crescent and the Soleduc. I’ve not been out to visit the west side of the park in a while so thank you for the review and incentive for us to get out there!

Not sure if you know, but there is a cookbook -The National Parks Cookbook: The Best Recipes from (and Inspired by) America’s National Parks (Great Outdoor Cooking) by Linda Ly, Will Taylor (Hardcover). The Dungeness Crab Mac and Cheese is a featured recipe in the book for Olympic National Park. It's a wonderful book with some cool stories as well. Thanks again for all the great content on the National Parks this year. Hope to see you two and Scout in January at the Tampa RV show.

Thank you! This was very helpful. I'm starting my National Park tour in Olympic NP! I've been dying to go because of the diverse scenery! Is most of the park accessible by RV? Unfortunately, there are no shuttles available in Olympic. My Rv is 24" by 8". I'm booking different camp sites along Olympic NP, Sul Duc to Kalaloch to HoH to Staircase. But how easy do you think it will be for me to get around and park at the trail heads? Thank you in advance!

My wife and I looked for a house in nearby Port Townsend in 2013 but unfortunately only three were available and we ended up buying a house elsewhere. I know I would have loved spending lots of time in the park.

Sad but true story: Usually the first thing that people do when they move here from out of state is cut down all the trees in their yard :( Almost all the evergreen trees here live for over 1,000 years and most trees in PNW towns are maybe 50 or 60... the trees will easily outlive the house but people still cut them down because they just don't take the time to learn about them.

@@NewstateNomads Smokies was my dad's favorite so we went there often, back in the days of heavy canvas tents with internal tent poles. I was probably 5 the first trip, I'm now 68 and cherish those family camping vacations. Now I'm a weekend warrior with my great dane here in Northern Illinois. Great that the Senior Park pass is accepted at Corp of Engineering campgrounds. We have a pop up right now. My husband joins us on longer trips. He doesn't camp just for the sake of camping. 🤣
