doesnt take much research, but the mustang at 8, the red tails edition, does not have a 2.3l engine with a supercharger. it has a 2.3l supercharger fitted to the 5.0l coyote v8

pantera wasn't a Ford, just Ford powered, and while the GT40 might technically count it was much to small for anyone but a 5'8 LeManns driver, and more to the point the GT40 was a VERY limited production run, the cool thing about most Mustangs is anyone can have one, they have always been priced in such a way that they are affordable, with the cheapest V8 being comparable to your average optioned out compact, and the most expensive ones carrying pricetags similar to a middle of the road Corvette, in size, production, and price, the GT40 would never fill that gap

Although the 1966 GT350H cars are best known in Raven Black w/gold, among the 1001 cars there were 50 Candy Apple Red with side stripes, 50 Wimbledon White with side stripes (as well as several models with both side and Le Mans stripes), 50 Sapphire Blue models with side stripes, and 50 Ivy Green with side stripes.

2.33 to 1 axle is a high ratio giving more speed / rpm, not a low ratio. The term is often confused with the larger numerical number of a lower ratio.

Most of the cars we're just ideas that the Ford industry summit to the public so they could have an opinion about there ideas. and most of them never been introduced because they were all bad ideas and weird ideas and completely made no sense at all. But some of the cars that was in the video are people's own ideas that they have for their own car. The person that made this video most likely got on Google and downloaded all of the car pics and put them all in this video that we're heavily edited

Actually Herz never had all 1001 delivered. Only some 5-600 or so. After they offered them for rental under the slogan "rent a racer" people actually took them on the racetrack, put in roll-over-bars that they took out again after the weekend and handed back the cars with the holes for the bolts drilled trough the bottom and run down tires. Then Herz thought better of it and cancelled the rest of the cars.

It is really unbelievable, that these are all Ford Mustangs, the iconic pony car of all time. But I don't think the GT350H is that rare, because most people already know about it. But the real thing is at the end, those cool exhaust sounds makes me remember Steve McQueen's iconic '68 Mustang from Bullitt. BTW, very nice video man! 👍👍👌👌😄😄

the Redtails edition was not a supercharged 2.3, it had a supercharged 5.0 with 624hp, however I believe the supercharger itself displaced 2.3 litres

Have to disagree there. The Coyote 5.0 is clearly a superior engine but the exhaust just isn’t for me. The 4.6, while far less powerful has a much deeper and more muscular exhaust note. I

I own a 2015 Ford Mustang and a 350 SuperDuty but the 2015 mustang.... Man I think it fine as it is + I have only heard out of all of these The 2015 Mustang Apollo. My brother showed me that pic of it when I got my 2015.

There was a mustang model from the late 60s i think that was more literally a mustang with a mid engine. It simply looked like a classic mustang but it was lower and had an elongated wheelbase behind the doors instead of the front.

Shelby's in the 60's weren't called Mustangs at all. They are titled Shelby American. Ford also isn't on the Title anywhere

Not all Hurtz rent a cars were black and gold. Yes there were 1001 specially made in that color but Hurtz expanded its offering to white and blue, blue and white, red and white, and I even seen a green and white one

They remade the 350h recently. Did you know a Iacoca mustand and a Galpin Fiskar Mustang Rocket were made. Not really very well known 3rd party custom mustangs.

I hate to tell you, but 1966 Shelby Hertz Mustangs....came in many other colors than Black and Gold. All GT-350-H cars had Gold Stripes, but there were also White, Red, Green and Lemans Blue exteriors outside body colors offered of the 1002 cars produced...yes that 1002 cars, not 1001 cars which is correct. The first car, the Hertz, the info is wrong. there were 1000 delivered to Hertz, 1965 and 1966, and there were at least 3 colours; black, white and red, There were 2 extras Hertz did not take for delivery, one is black, and the other is missing. There were sold into the dealerships.

Wow. I really didn’t now about these mustangs before. I’m glad I now now about them. I’d love to have been able to have seats made out of cow hives. I’m so tired of just having leather seats made out of cow hide. I wish I could get leather seats made out of real horse hide like Giugrario concept car (spelled Giugiario btw)actually came with instead of the cow hives this video said it did. No they didn't, it was the 69 Torino that the XA Falcon Coupe was based on not the Mustang, the XB GT styling was copied from the 71 Mach 1, if you look at the XB Falcon with the GT Bonnet whether it be a Falcon GT to being a Falcon 500 GS the bonnet and front bar look like they came straight off the Mach 1 but the flutes and the lockdown pins are smaller on the GT bonnet than those on the Mustang

fang check yes, 800 were black, 50 in green, red & white(standard Shelby colors) the 50 in blue were painted Sapphire Blue, a Thunderbird color, not the Gaurdsman Blue used on other Shelbys. All received gold GT-350H stripes.

I just have one question.why do people make excuses for so many years of wasted chances to make mustang cool again, from the big back windowed 1971 pig,through all those years weird little cars.sombody needs explain why high gas prices was ever a good excuse....the 67 68. 69. 70 fast backs only were cool.if the excuse ever gets to be well the gas prices have risen to a dollar we need to start building shoe boxes,just make a 10 percent smaller 1970 style mustang.todays modern mustang is patterned directly on that design style platform.i just can't believe 30 years went by.

2nd one and the 4th one sounded best and the 4th being the best between the 1st and 3rd I have to say 1 wins out over the third it sounded stock to me but none had that deep sound that the mustang made super popular back when I was in high school in the 90s and yea I'm old get over it you'll be old some day soon LOL
