I live in Texas and I have a little story. Back in high school (I would say early senior year) a bunch of us and a pair of dogs were walking through the woods at night (something we used to do for whatever reason). We were walking along when something suddenly grabbed one of the dogs and took off really fast. We chase it through the woods and across a good sized stream when, suddenly, what it was let go of the dog and disappeared into the darkness. Now, the dog was shaken but otherwise had no marks whatsoever and, even stranger, despite being dragged along ground level and through that stream the dog was also bone dry. We never figured out what could just show up, drag a dog that fast, at ground level and just vanish again just as suddenly. That wasn't the only time something weird happened in the woods. I one of other guy were out there one night and saw a strange light. It was slow moving (very slow moving) and seemed to leave a trail behind it. It wasn't very high up either, about the same level a power line would've been if we weren't in the middle of the woods and there were power lines (there weren't). There are other stories two happened just to me: I was on the road, waking a mile to a friend's house and for the longest time while walking I felt like something was watching me from the woods on one side of the road. It only stopped when I reached a crossroad cutting off the woods. Another time, I walking the same road (but closer to my house) when a fog just showed up, out of nowhere, and I had this horrible feeling that if I entered that fog something really bad would happen, so I turned and went home.

I always thought I imagined it until my father-in-law told me about something he saw when he and his brother was driving around in Victoria. Not sure if this is related but my uncle relayed a story to me a few years back. When he was in the Army in the 1980's they were doing training maneuvers with the National Guard out in West Texas(We're all Texas Natives, but he was assigned to a unit in New Mexico). Anyways, it was nighttime and they were coordinating with the Air National Guard to drop battlefield illumination flares. Well the jets launch their flares and they see this thing in the distance, a dog looking creature that ran off with incredible speeds. Said they heard it for the rest of their time out there, screaming like a mountain lion. Its not the only weird thing that happened while they were out there, but its the one that's most relevant. A lot of guys in the military have paranormal stories I've found out.

The first encounter I was working at a construction site in rural SC. It was 2 in the morning and I was making rounds on the perimeter of the building. When i got to the big bay door that allows large vehicles to enter. I heard some equipment get knocked over. I thought it was either a deer or at worst a bear that had gotten into the building but what stepped out into the doorway was not that at all. It was a 8 and a half foot tall living nightmare. I was 30ft from the creature and it towered above me. All I had was a 9mm pistol. I just placed my hand on the hilt of my gun while I slowly backed away. The whole time ti glared at me with a low growl. I could tell I was being watched form the woods as well. it was not alone It did not advanced because I think it knew I had a gun. I was able to get to my car and I high tailed ti to the far end of the property. When the morning crew arrived to continue work on the building I told them a wild animal got into the building. A few days later when I came back to work they had changed how they secure the building. They use to just leave all the doors open. But now if was locked down tighter than Fort Knox. I think one of the site supervisors might have had and encounter himself prompting the radical change in how they did things. My second encounter took place at another construction site. This one was less dramatic but it still scared me. I was in my car at a school construction site. It was 1 in the morning when another Bigfoot just walked out of the woods into the side road near the southside of the school. The creature looked around then saw me. It then walked back into the woods. For the next 2 weeks whenever I made rounds I could tell I was being watched. And it was not a good feeling at all. After that I said I am done no more wooded areas. I don't like being growled at and stalked by 8ft giants.

Bird-Man encounter so my encounter started when i was out on a camping trip with my family. we got there around five and we set up camp. we made dinner and when to sleep. later that night i woke up to hear a raven cawing but it was really deep and so i was curious and wanted to see what it was. i stepped out side to see nothing. but just as i turned to go back in the tent i saw it a huge massive bird like creature flying in the sky. i screamed and my parents came out of there tent wondering what was the matter. they looked up to see what my eyes were locked on they were horrified at the sight of the thing. it came at us and we freaked out we ran to the car not caring about the stuff we left there. we just wanted out of there. we could hear the thing cawing behind us. i swear the thing was right behind us the whole time and we were speeding down that road. we were at least going 60mph. the thing hit the back of the car and we swerved almost hitting a tree but luckily we made it out with nothing more than just some minor car damage

When I was young probably 12 or so my parents began building their dream home near the shores of the largest lake system in our county. A lot of weekends was spent there with us all doing the work ourselves, of course as kids my older sister and my younger brother just loved being out of the city and surrounded by the forest, before construction was finished some of my aunts and uncles who were dating at that time, would use the area in front of our home to go parking and make out because they were the only ones there. It was very secluded from anything know one lived with in at least 5 miles of it because it was in a deep heavily forested area, so privacy was one thing they had there, there were always sounds from the forest of the critters that in habited it, I loved to sit and listen to the birds and squirrels scampering through the foliage. Little did I know while parking there late one night my aunts and uncles had an experience that I never found out about until many years later. Apparently there was a large humanoid thing that attacked them while they were in their cars they told my parents it was about 6to 7 foot tall covered with hair and had glowing red eyes from the moon light it shook and attacked both cars while the occupants were scared to death, to scared to start their cars and escape. They said the attack lasted what seemed like an eternity while my future aunts screamed in terror at what was out side the cars. Finally they came to their senses enough to start their vehicles and escape the thing out side. After the attack they told my parents of the incident my mother took it to heart and believed them, while my dad who was afraid the they would have to forgo the completion of their home from fear of what resided in the surrounding forest, both of my parents neglected telling us kids about the incident because they were afraid we would never return. While building our home we did not have indoor plumbing yet such as a working bathroom so we had to rely on an out door bathroom and we went down to the lake to take a bath and play in the water, we began to hear growling and loud screams while in the woods and my parents chocked it up to animals in the woods that surrounded our new home. Our mother began to tell us of something not human but animal like with the appearance of a humanoid creature, we kids did not believe it, only because we were never told of the creature that had been spotted earlier on the grounds in front of our home. As the years went by we continued to hear this thing circle our home and howl and scream as though it was telling us to leave and never come back, we grew cautious of our surroundings and stayed inside went night fell. When I was about 16 our cousins our ages would come down and spend the night because we had an entire lake at disposal and we loved it, one evening at dusk there was about 5 or 6 of us swimming and having fun in the water, me and one of my other cousins decided to go back up the hill to my house to get flash lights so we could stay after it got dark as the surrounding forest made it so dark you could not see your hands in front of your face, while climbing the hill to our drive way we heard a loud crash and a scream in the woods that surrounded us we began to run as it sounded like it was very close to us we could hear it running along beside us in the woods to our left, if we stopped it stopped and you could feel it watching us and breathing very heavy. We took off again until we made it to the front porch and the thing chasing us stopped in the woods a few feet away from us, we went inside and told my parents what happened but my dad being the rational thinker he was and not wanting to add to our panic told us it was nothing to worry about. Which helped us to calm down and take a breath to relax. Now at this time my younger brother and some more of our cousins were still at the lake and had heard the loud noises coming from the woods by our house, I asked my dad if he would drive back to the lake to pick them up because I did not want to go back, so he did as any great father would he went to the waters edge and picked them up and brought them back to the house, where we all sit and talked about what had happened a compared stories of what we heard. We all had the same description of the howling and screaming we had heard, needless to say they did not come back for quite a while after that but we still heard the thing in the woods after that, but it never came close to us like it did that dark evening.

I’m from Texas working on a rig in New Mexico now if you walk down to road to the transfer station you will get followed by what looks like a pail naked mans crawling but his arms and legs kinda equal out like how a deer or a dogs are. I kinda think it’s a ghost or a skin walker im stationed here for another week doing flow back on a rig now there’s only me and the day shift here a crew for just two people one on days and one on nights no one believes me tho I’m thinking about trying to use my vacation days until we move to the next site I hear scratching on my camper every hour or so I think it followed me back I’m scared to check the tanks now

Massacre is not considered a family friendly word so if he says anything like that he will lose all money he may have made. It is happening to a lot of my horror channels.
