As a beginner, one trick that I learned just by playing by myself is, if you swap a unit with an item with a non item, meaning your item holder is now in the bench and the other unit is in the field if you tried to upgrade it the one in the bench will toss out the item and the unit on the board will be upgraded. Meaning, you'll get your item back without selling the unit. So I thought it could've been useful in 9:38. I mean on the grand scheme of the game, its pretty much negligible.
