1000% agree! He actually became a more efficient player in SA and a much better passer. The media trashed him cuz he doesn’t shoot 3s and Tor won without him (Lebron going to the West helped a bit). It’s was all false narratives.

Exactly , although he made the playoffs only once out of the three seasons in San Antonio he was still putting up averages of 21/6/6 and 21/4/7 in both years when they didn't make the playoffs . Its just that the spurs were dreadful back then and the year they made it to the playoffs he put up averages of 22/6/6 which clearly shows that he wasn't the problem. All they had to do was surround him with a little talent and good role players . Oh yeah and he was putting up these numbers at a very efficient rate Edit : oh ya and Demar himself said his time with the spurs helped him elevate his game to what it is now . Pop is undoubtedly one of the greatest coaches in the history of NBA and he often played DeRozan in the PF position there which eventually added the versatility which is on full display this season

Bro what???? Demar went to SA and became a complete player. Pop played him at ever position 1-4 and put the ball in his hands in the clutch. SA is the reason why Demar is who he is today. Hes a better passer, has more confidence late in games, rebounds better and is all around better and more versatile than he's ever been BECAUSE he was on the spurs for a few years. Also I'm pretty sure he signed with the Bulls and wasn't traded.

@@Dewey247 your mixing up opinions and claims. Yes, your opinion can be your claim but your claim isn't always your opinion. The claim is a statement that justifies your said stance on whatever the topic or subject is. From there people give reasonings and arguments over that said claim. In videos like his top 75 players vid, he gave reasoning for all his placements. But if the reasoning (why he chose to put a player where) and the arguments (why a player is above another player) is wrong then people can give their counters. Case and point Curry > Hakeem. You can also add LeBron James. Was drafted 1 overall in the 2003 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers out of St. Vincent St. Mary’s high school, he was named the 2004 Rookie of the year and ultimately failed to win the highly coveted championship which was the reason why he left for the Miami Heat where he will team up with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh and won 2 championships in 2012 and 2013, and then he decided to return home to Cleveland teaming up with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love and give them a championship which he did in 2016, then Cleveland allowed him to leave for the lights LA and team up with Anthony Davis, Kyle Kuzma, and Lonzo Ball and won a championship with AD in 2020. But I believe that when he left for the Heat changed him and saved his career. Miami ignited something in him, LeBron ultimately activated beast mode, and became a god
