I've owned a Symphony 125SR for over 8 years, it's been utterly reliable. Starts first time every time. No issues. Only minor gripe about Sym is their UK customer service leaves everything to the local dealer, so there's no detailed maintenance handbook available; and all servicing is controlled through the dealer. Luckily mine are very good. The Symphony doesn't have a great top end speed (60-70mph depending on conditions) but is nippy off the traffic lights, great around town, and nimbly gets through all gaps to the front of the traffic. Mpg has stayed around 80 consistently for city riding (85 when it was newer). Fuel tank is on small side so range is about 125-135km in practice. Would definitely get the same model again, although a Citycom 300i is tempting for slightly longer journeys / range / top speed /storage etc. I certainly recommend SYM.

Je trouve que le Cruisym dans toutes ses versions est une totale réussite. Ce scooter au design moderne audacieux et sportif est totalement dans l'air du temps. L' assemblage est de très haute qualité. Voilà un concurrent sérieux à prendre en compte pour la production japonaise. Personnellement j'ai choisi cette option et je suis suis totalement ravis de mon achat, sans remords ni regrets. Bravo SYM... Patrick France.

Most of the bikes are nice in my opinion,but the odometer can be improved more and some model names could change to something more serious-sounding perhaps.. The best looking odometer to me are bmw scooters

I remember my first motorcycle like it was yesterday, a 1959 Triumph Bonneville. Purchased in 1963, an ex Police bike, with little mileage. Cost, 260 Pounds. Australia, when we had Pounds, Shillings and Pence. Traveled over 40,000 miles with absolutely no engine trouble. Only one accident, where I rear ended a 1962 EK Holden sedan. My fault entirely, as I was passing the Ryde Swimming Centre on Victoria Road and ogling the babes sunbaking up against the cyclone fence. Oops, said Holden was stopped, waiting to make a right turn to the swim centre to pick up one of these babes and looked around too late, ending up on the Holden's boot lid, on my back like an upturned tortoise. No injuries to either myself, other than pride or the car, but the bike's front forks were bent out of shape a little. No S lanes back then to cater for right turning traffic like we have now, so one had to be more traffic aware to vehicles suddenly slowing to turn right, and at times, some mongrels wouldn't even use their turn signals. Hard lesson learned. So, I've continued riding throughout the years, off and on, but now in retirement, considering a change to Motor Scooters, but more along the lines of a Honda PCX, or Yamaha Aerox, etc. First preference though would be a Honda Air Blade, 125cc, as this would be the absolute pick of all scooters in the 125 category, the best looking scooter ever to grace a Vietnamese dealer's showroom floor. Yes, unfortunately, as far as I'm aware, that model has only been released to Vietnam. A great shame, as this would sell like the proverbial hotcakes in other world markets, I kid you not. But on the subject of scooters, back when I rode the Triumph, for the very first time, I found it so easy, even managing slow U-turns without putting a foot to the ground, and I might add, these Triumphs were a heavy piece of kit, being around 100 plus kilos. Perhaps years riding a push bike helped quite a bit. No, that's not to say that the humble bicycle also weighed the same lol, but where balance entered the equation. Also on the Trumpy, even with my height at 172 cm, I was able to put boots flat to the ground. Some months later, a group of us were yarnin' with a few motor scooter riders, and I remarked that I'd never even rode one, and it was then I was invited to have a go on this guy's Vespa. I figured no problem, I can nail this. Whoa, immediately I felt unsafe, as I sensed a change in balancing the damn thing. The difference between it and the Triumph, was that I was sitting with my legs straight ahead, whereas on the Triumph, I sat with legs astride. What you used to I suspect.
