I'm newer to collecting and I never get uncirculated i like the fun of randomly finding them in pocket change. I Have been putting the state quarter books together since 2020 for my kids so there is so many. 3 kids each having a state book and national book w both having Denver and Phil mints. It's alot. I have a San Antonio 2019 quarter but it has an "S" mint on it, not a "W". It recently (*Really)) stood out to me due to the obverse looking like a nice silver Washington head with a mirror like background. When I noticed it had an S on it, it lead me to looking up what S's meant on a coin(s).. And thus I've been looking though all thw coins in the house, apparently driving my husband insane for the last week as I've done nothing but research coins lol

just because it is S mint, doesn't mean it is 90% silver. S minted quarters also come as clad. look at the side to make sure it isn't clad.

It sounds like it might be damage caused by a coin counter machine. Circular marks on the face of the coin are commonly caused by these devices.

I collected rolls of all the state quarters when they first came out. I would break open one roll, put each coin in an air tight holder to give to family. I have a second and third role that I never opened. Would you suggest to sell the entire roll, or break them open and look for strike errors.

I don't know how to add pictures here so I just wanted to ask 2 questions. First, I have a New Jersey Quarter that is missing the first letter, "C" in the word Crossroad. It reads Rossroads. Is that collectible? Second, I have a 1999 Texas San Antonio Mission quarter that is shiny on the obverse but has a dull color on the back. It's not from wear. It was minted that way. I was told there were 4 different color types, is this an error? Also, the mint "P" is on the obverse, and 1999 on the reverse. Is that normal?

There is 1 American dunum for the year 1908, the letter D, and there are 5 cent Jefferson silver in a very excellent way for the year 1964. There is also 1 dunum for the year 2000 with letter p. There is also 1 dollar nickel 1998 letter p. Wat Saab 0096569957265
