@Batflip 09 The Ducks logo and jerseys were designed for the team. They appeared in the second film, released over a year after the team was founded. We never used the design from the original film.

I love those Phoenix jerseys too. I have a light and dark one. I wear them all the time. The alternate one he was talking about is god awful. Sportslogos.net has pictures of all most every jersey of every team I. Every sport from the 1960's on. They even have lots of jerseys from long before that too. Its an awesome website.

That classic 70's Kings purple jersey is BEAUTIFUL. Clean and simple and the colours are bold, unique and they scream "royalty". The crown is classic. The Kings should've never changed their colours in the first place.

Ottawa has some great jerseys... It has the Trogen one which is a taste thing really... Do what you want with that maybe you need a little extra protection... They also have the black and Red Sens and the stripped O... Personally I think they are the best "expantion" team jersey. They do have an ugly one that you see very rarely. It's the one that came out before they had a logo. It has Ottawa with the top of the peace tower on top of the two "T" and senators under it. And the Original colours in stripes under that.

As a Flames fan, I wholeheartedly agree that the flaming horses head is an abomination! I vividly remember when the team announced that they were set to unveil a third jersey for the first time. One of the local papers had a contest for it's readers to submit designs for what they thought would be the best look for the team. A couple of Flames players were the judges(Sandy McCarthy was one)and they ended up selecting a brilliant design that featured a fire breathing dragon. It looked awesome! So when the team revealed the final product I was dumbfounded as to how they could select something so obviously hideous!

I'm a Pens fan and I've never gelled with any of the changes since the mid 90s. I used to wear a Robopenguin jersey (white) for hockey practice and it was ok. Just. After that they went off the rails IMO and I really, really don't like any of the vegas gold strips. But, hey that's just me. Glad to have them back in what I think of as proper pens jerseys. Oh and I didn't mind the powder blue throwbacks (I have one now). Less keen on the dark blue throwbacks.

The Dark blue might be too dark. If they found a blue that was between the powder blue and the dark blue it would be great. I think they should add blue back into the jerseys just keep the black, yellow and white since those four colors are the colors from the Pittsburgh coat of arms.

The Sabres I think have a good jersey history besides the alternate from a couple of years ago. The jerseys they have now is fine, their first jerseys they had were awesome and idk why the won't go back to that lighter blue, the black and red jerseys were awesome and I wish they'd bring those back in like an alternate or for the winter classic this year, the flying slug jerseys were okay just the logo was bad, and the 40th anniversary alternate jerseys which is 2010 were absolutely amazing.

the defining characteristics of NHL jerseys in the 1990's ...1) BLACK 2) asymmetrical striping, 3) striping that has to form a pattern particularly as seen when the jersey is flat on the table with the arms straight out to the sides at 90 degrees (as that is the posture of most players during a game)

I love the orange ducks jersey, the ducks have some of the best jersey history if you ask me. Of course there are some that suck but in general I really like them. I seem to like alot of jerseys that most people dislike, I love the angry goat version of the Sabres jersey. I do agree with Vancouver though, I don't really love any Canucks jersey. I also never liked any Florida jerseys until they changed their logo to their most recent logo and completely changed their jerseys, I really like them now.

The Rangers and the Oilers are the ones that come to mind immediately. They each had ONE good Jersey. The Rangers was Lady Liberty (they wore those a few times in '99) and the Oilers was the Metallic Gear (06-07 alternate). Gotta agree with the Kings. Practically everything from the gretzky era to today was a disaster.
