I'm from the U.S. state of Vermont and when I was a kid, I watched the Kids CBC block sometimes because for some reason my TV cable could pick up the station. So yes I remember Nanalan, The Doodlebops and Mr. Meaty when these shows were on that block, and also I remember Jacob Two-Two when it was on Qubo :)

Angela Anaconda was in my country too, eastern Europe. I HATED this show, because when it was on, every other channel had something worse on. So we were forced to watch this. It had a unique style and was very cool made. This was literally the best option on 3 week days at 2h pm. I think I saw every episode at least 3 times. I hated her voice too.

Dude Nanalan has given me nightmares daily for almost 15 years, not even joking. I haven’t stepped foot in my grandmothers basement since I was 7 because I had a nightmare and the f**king grandmother from this show was chasing me with an axe. Thank you Canada for traumatizing me at the ripe age of 3

I watch most of this shows. Freaky Stories was another weird show. It was similar to tales from the crypt keeper but was host by a cockroaches and a maggot. I love that show. We had Uh Oh a kids game show that is probably weirder then all these combines but in a awesome way

Anyone heard of Pirates, which aired on Treehouse when I was a kid in around 2000? Man, that was ugly, looking back at it 20 years later. It's like the You Are a Pirate song from LazyTown, but the humans and the puppets have merged into each other, making a Candle Cove-esque abomination of a kids' show.

I wonder if anyone has any info on these: Little Star - Wasn't a big fan of this one... basically a spaceship drama for kids with strange animal puppets. Max's Tales (I don't know the exact name of this one - just had drawings and a cat named Max doing the storytelling and alway ended with "but that's another tale for another time" Pumper Pups - Also uses still images instead of animation Rainbow Island - I don't know the exact title of this, but I remember it had some colourful animal costumes dancing. Growing up around Vancouver I misheard the lyrics as "Granville Island, Granville Island!" NiNi's Treehouse - This was one of my favourites

Oh my lord, I didn't even remember most of these! I've seen almost every single one mentioned at least once but I can't remember watching them??? Like, I KNOW I've watched them before because I can remember the nightmares I had from Wee 3 and Toy Castle but I don't remember anything except the characters. To me, Nanalan is not that creepy, it’s actually innocent to me. When I saw it on YTV, I was not scared of it. Also, I do remember seeing Toy Castle as well. I wonder if you remember seeing any shows on Discovery Kids in Canada. I remember seeing something with nature, weather and a series of shorts on this network.
