I don't watch much MLB or NBA to say for those leagues, but for NFL I would probably say my favorite is the Phildelphia Eagles, as it has the different color as well as a simple, aggressive logo. My favorite logo of all time though, not just saying this as a homer, is in the NHL and is the Hartford Whalers. Even if they moved, that logo is still the best logo in all of sports history in my opinion. It has fairly unique colors, the whale tail, the W, and a H hidden in the negative space, all tucked into an eye pleasing almost shield like shape but not resembling a shield at the same time. I think it's the best

New York Yankees (MLB): Navy blue pinstripes are the envy of the professional sports world, representing victory. 9. Montreal Canadiens (NHL): Bleu, blanche and rouge are undeniably authentic. 8. Boston Celtics (NBA): Kelly green and white with gold trim. 7. Green Bay Packers (NFL): Cheeseheads are a remarkable fanbase. 6. Vancouver Canucks (NHL): The stick in the rink, not the spaghetti plate/skate, please! 5. As a Clan fan myself there is so much wrong with the team name & logo It has zero to do with The West of Scotland. Clans only existed in Nothern Scotland ( The Highlands) In The West we had Lords & Laird's not Clans so the team name is stupid for a start. And The Warrior is more Like a combination of a Pictish Warrior & William Wallace The Pictish people being the first inhabitants of Scotland again only in The Highlands & William Wallace was later in History & buy that time the Clan system was long gone in Scotland. The Celtic knot is more Irish than Scottish. The entire logo is a shambles. The Paisley Pirates how use the same arena have a much better logo & go back to the late 40's. Keep Safe.

I didn't design the logo, it was done by a viewer of the channel for the contest. I had no graphical influence in it other than the channel colors.

The triangle in the Sharks logo also represents the red triangle. It’s a part of the Pacific Ocean where the majority of shark attacks happened. San Jose is in that triangle. That logo really takes full advantage of the teams name. I also really like the Milwaukee Brewers logo. The way they hid the teams initials in the glove is cool. Finding out that detailed made a that logo cool and unique instead of generic like I initially thought.

ten of my favorite logos that aren't boston teams are 10) NY Mets secondary logo, great color scheme, and i love the city in the background too. 9) San Jose Sharks. I think it's really cool that an animal such as a shark has branding. 8) Michigan Wolverines M. It's classic and the colors are a great scheme 7) Pittsburgh Pirates old Pirate logo from the 90s/2000s. It's arguably the coolest logo from that period of time in baseball 6) Charlotte Hornets. Not only is it the best color scheme in sports but the logo is great. I don't know why they ever went to the Bobcats. 5) NY Giants 80s/Alt logo. Such a rich history with this one, it's so simple it works so well. I love it, even if the Giants did take my Patriots 19-0 season away. 4) Detroit Red Wings, another great and iconic branding from an original 6 franchise. 3) St. Louis Cardinals, as you can see I have a sweet spot for the classic franchises in sports. It's almost a perfect logo with the birds and the bat. 2) Chicago Blackhawks, an original 6 franchise, it's so iconic, and i understand the controversy behind it but i try to view it more as homage to the indigenous people of the Blackhawk tribe 1) Hartford Whalers, the greatest sports logo of all time. No explanation needed.

Fun totally random fact. That Ravens logo, is not even the logo they used when the team came into existence, not even due to a rebrand, but the original logo was nearly identical to a logo submitted to the Ravens. The person just asked for a team signed helmet for the use of the drawing, the team refused, he then filed a lawsuit for copyright infringement, won, thus requiring the team to change their logo.

The Glasgow Clan have a great logo,but a terrible team at the moment although the EIHL season has only just started.You were right about the Gaelic thing in the background and the other thing you were on about is called tartan.What you see on Scottish kilts and other Scottish clothing.The Belfast Giants who I follow from the EIHL have also got a nice new logo now.A lot better than the old one anyway 😀

NHL Minnesota wild NFL Denver Broncos PS it's my favourite team but objectively it's a beautiful logo in my opinion CFL it use to be Montreal now it's BC Lions NBA use to be Toronto Raptors loved there old logo now it's probably Chicago bulls MLB Toronto Blue Jays again my favorite team but objectively then and the St.Louis cardinals have the two best logos in the MLB I just choose Blue Jays because it's just a little bit better in my opinion but not by much. For me it's impossible to pick one from NHL, it's a tie between Minnesota, Colorado and Ottawa, these are all that I loved as a kid and still do (If San Jose kept their old logo that might take it). Current NBA probably Hornets but I preferred the original Hornets logo. NFL Packers all the way. MLB Cardinals, "soccer" Liverpool and European hockey logo: Slovan Bratislava

Let's start by saying the Baltimore Ravens have arguably the worst logo in sports. Two of the BEST logos are the St. Louis Blues and the St. Louis Cardinals. Both are objectively great.

@@sitboaf My biggest problem is that B on the bird's head. We know they are from Baltimore without it. I also am not a fan of purple on black. I like purple but the combination looks black on TV. I'd like a more aggressive bird with no be and a no black. I love the team name.

And the purple sometimes does appear too dark, depending on environment/lighting. I'm a little surprised you have so much love for the Avalanche. It's fine, but the colors are a bit dull, and the styling is now quite dated. The organization has been playing with a lot of alternate logos the last few years, so maybe that's an acknowledgement that the main logo is getting long in the tooth. My favorite current major league logos: Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia Flyers, Dallas Cowboys, Portland Trailblazers. Shout out to the original Mighty Ducks logo, too.
