We should always remember the importance of the L Word to society, appreciate Bette and Tina given their meaning to gay couples in long-term relationships and how, in my opinion, they portrayed love (not just sex but love) better than any couple in television history. The look in their eyes after lovemaking ... realistic and lovely. If Jen Beals is not in every episode she will be greatly missed as I believe she was the heart and soul of both iterations of the show but I recall her interviews when Tina returned in season one: she thought they should be together, that they were soulmates. If Laurel Holloman's epic (beautiful works) painting career means she cannot act full-time, I can see JB sacrificing several episodes in order to bring their story to a proper conclusion: back together and married. I thank the writers, Beals and Holloman for changing how many people in society viewed certain gay couples: not U-Haul players but professional, successful and committed women.

So I’ve been analysing your vid and definitely they are going to recreate the beloved porch scene bless with the mug clue too! can just make out photos above the arrangements “blurry as” lol but looks like (Bette the hair) Porter.. I’m just looking forward to this season even if it’s the last sadly. The complete show right from the beginning has just been brilliant and yes it’s not been perfect things could of been done differently but you can’t please each and everyone of us but what Ilene Chaiken and all the cast have done is that they have created a massive fandom after years off air it’s still going strong and I applaud them for that 😉 🙌🏻 🤟🏻

The best thing about Gen Q has a name: SEPIDEH MOAFI. When she leaves, I leave. Instead of taking advantage of her talent, letting the character that conquered the audience grow, they focused on the same old teenage stories and left her as part of the set. I don't blame Sepi for choosing other projects where her talent and charisma are more valued. I love Jennifer (really love her, she is TLW) and Arienne. But they don't offer anything new with their stories. Keeping Gini, both with Iranian roots, would even have been important considering the current situation in Iran. But not. The idea is that they all sleep with each other, and that middle-aged people continue to spin around the same thing, a decade later. The rest are uninteresting characters. Sorry.

Maybe they get Angie situated in her dorm room then they go to Alice's Birthday party? Your clue seems to be about a couple (Cup + L). A cool couple?, A couple on ice?, A frozen couple? My thoughts were: Is a couple moving to Vancouver? One of my favorites would be to have Erin Daniels come back as a different character and start dating Alice. And the other thought I had, which is crazy, was Maybe Bette and Tina realized they still have Marcus Allenwood's sperm on ice and decide to have another baby but this time they use Bette's eggs and a seragete.🤣

And if it wasn't for that damn car accident, Dani & Gigi wouldn't have split up. Obviously the car accident was the writers way of ending Gigi & Dani's love story, without really letting us know why it ended so abruptly in Season 3. Everyone has been speculating, but I can't find any credible info on why Gigi left the show! Maybe we'll find out after the season ends! Dani & Gigi were the glue holding the show together. I don't see what the writers can bring to another season that will hold most fans attention!

You mentioned this is the SERIES finale and in the PANTS podcast there was some doubt as to whether the show would be picked up again. I'm not sure about the clue but I think the L Word is on ice for now until they see how this season goes and whether the new Paramount/Showtime honchos want to continue with this show's concept. Based on your synopses, the writers gave themselves the option to completely do away with the entire cast and rethink the entire show should they come back for another season or on another network. It seems Bette is done as a main cast member after marrying Tina (nowhere for the story line to go) and the cast members that didn't hit the mark with viewers (there were several) can be replaced with fresh faces. This essentially gives the show an opportunity to start fresh. They essentially have to hit this season out of the park for it to reengage the viewers and stand any chance for renewal. I'm hopeful, but if it renews I doubt we will see as much of Bette, Alice and Shane in front of the camera. What are your thoughts?
