Arizonian here! I’m really happy that you mentioned mesquite as mesquite is something natural here and something I love eating! I don’t know the sub species but back in my highschool days I’d pick the beans up from the ground of a neighbors lawn after they drop and ate the skin. They’re really good, too! I don’t advice this however as ants and other insects love these beans too and will eat the skin from the inside out. Didn’t know you could make coffee out of them, though! I should try that next chance I get!

Here in argentina we use a lot of Algarrobo (the fruit it's called "algarroba"), it's in the same genus as the Mesquite (Prosopis); there are several species of algarrobo here, all of them have a great wood and grow in extremely varied condition (from the highly fertile areas of the Pampas to the rather desert-like conditions of Cuyo), but a few of them produce the "Algarroba" (mainly Prosopis Alba). It's has been in use since before the europeans came to the continent, and in modern times it declined both in abundance and popularity. But now it is quite popular again as a healthy "sweetener"; algarroba flower it's used in all sorts of sweet baked confections (alfajores, cakes, cookies). It's actually quite healthy and nice in flavour. Other species of Prosopis are used too to prepare "chicha", an alcoholic beverage that's gaining some popularity again, but it's mostly sold as a "souvenir" in towns of the northern part of the country.

How is it that doing that trick doesn't trigger a cough/gag response? I imagine you're simply used to it, but it reminded me of the feeling of getting the COVID test and I coughed and gagged in response to it. Otherwise, I missed watching this kind of compilation video. You definitely know how to make this much more interesting.

It takes a lot of training. One interesting thing is you have to train each nostril individually. I preserved the left nostril, so getting a covid test was a little reminder of what it's like to have that reaction.. not fun.

@@WeirdExplorer If I respected you before, now I respect you a thousand times more than that. I was kind of used to the feeling of getting nasal endoscopies, but since it's been a long time since the last one, the gag reflex came back. Hope you're doing well, dude. Your videos are the highlight of my Sundays.

Perfect proof that you should never judge a book by its cover, at least try it first if it's safe to do so. I just wish some of these were more commercially available for us that can't grow them ourselves.

Huh, I actually knew something out of the list - a miracle berry. Funny thing is that i found it out through anime called "Detective conan/"Case Closed" in one of its episodes-cases(latter half of 1000). One non-importand one-case guy couldnt stand sour stuff so his wife gave him that berry for something related to sour chocolate and *case details spoilers*. As much as that show is realistic i still couldnt believe such lil'berry actually existed. On the other note, i'm kinda glad i got previous part through recommendations, learnt of many interesting fruits i doubt i'll get my hands on in 20 years, but eh, learning random facts is much cooler.

That sponsor is no joke! my family have been getting things from them for years. They are an epic way to self educate and gain a greater understanding of anything you can think of!! I highly recommend them to everyone, parents, teachers, driven people to better understand the world around them and more. You will not regret this sponsor. I knew I recognized your footage in that channel and a cupule others!! I hope you were able to get that dealt with. Especially, when they could have just as easily asked you and NOT put a slander twords your work. I find that kind of thing deplorable for people to do when it is a simple thing as asking. Seriously people ASK!!! Another note: The screwdriver... WHY??!... HOW????? WHY!? I am feeling a bit concerned, extremely curious, and just a bit unsettled. You have got to do a video about your "special" abilities just to settle some of my (and likely many others) questions and concerns. I also recommend that you paste a huge warning "NOT TO TRY THIS YOURSELF!!" Just for all those tide pod eaters, glue or sharpie sniffers, and all those trying to get their attention addiction fed by likes, tweets, ect. (Personally, I say let them clean the DNA pool, But I also can not approve of self harm or harm to others.) I can not wait for spring so I can send you all kinds of things. Please let me know where I can send them to.. PLEASE!! Thank you for yet another Amazing, if not a bit perturbing video!! I love it.

Have you tried Medlars yet? They belong to the Apple family and were very popular in England in Medieval times. They need to be bletted before you can eat them though. They come into season around Autumn and then you pick them after the first frost, as this causes them to begin to rot and that’s when they are ready to eat (you can also blet them in your freezer). They have a custard consistency with an apple like taste. I think you’d find them interesting and, I do know where there are a few medlar trees so, I could send you some from the UK, pre bletted, they’d be fine in the post.
