This is a bit of a sequel to my "Top 15 Huttslayer Leia Collectibles" video. This time, I showcase 10 of the worst and the weirdest items from my collection.

I knew that bear figure with British the second I saw it. There's a whole sect of products over here marketed as "cheeky"; usually targeted at older people, but it more than often comes off as either seedy or cringy

I actually kind of like the “spitting image” Leia. It has a lot of character to it. I’d love to see the rest of the kit in a video, from the picture some of the other characters looked pretty interesting.

Honestly I'm considering making the Bad Taste Bear my headcanon for Hutt anatomy (for when they reproduce outside parthenogenisis). I do also like how, at least how I'm reading it, Leia is afraid. In my opinion, a huttslayer Leia figure should either display the emotion of fear or a death glare. I still get putting this as a bottom tier item tho.

Thanks, I actually made a video about that (kzbin.info/www/bejne/r17SgmV7hbqKkMU). It was created by Regal Robot but Sideshow does also sell it. Interestingly, Regal Robot made a literal door knocker version of it as well, although it has apparently sold out.

You're right. I went back and reread the article and it said that the guy who painted them didn't like her head sculpt, so redid parts of it like the nose. That was a mistake IMHO. If you're going to use figures with this caricature style, you might as well go all the way with it.

Stop trying to make "Huttslayer" a thing. She's a captive. She's a dancing girl. She's a slave girl. She's a prisoner. She certainly slayed a Hutt, but the motivations for the term are so cringy. Language policing is for Orwell novels, not Star Wars movies.

I don't think there's any language policing going on, except maybe from the people telling me what I should and shouldn't be saying? I really have no problem with people using other terms if they prefer. I can only control myself. But there are signs that Disney and Hasbro have settled on Huttslayer Leia as the term for this version of the character, and if it casts her in a more positive (and accurate!) light then I'm for it.
