Some AWESOME secrets are waiting for us to discover outside the map of Call of Duty WW2's Headquarters!
Using a newly discovered method to get outside the map on headquarters we get to explore the map with no boundaries! In the video we discover a mysterious huge test box floating underneath the map, get a close look at the allied 'paper soldiers' standing far out in the distance, and find that some very odd changes have taken place in this version of the headquarters map!
In this video we will also go over a tutorial on how to get outside of the Headquarters map so you can have fun exploring yourself!

Just to inform you guys about some of the things shown in this video for people who don't know much or anything about game development. Firstly, the reason for that big box under the map is there for most probably just to scale the map correctly or it's used to test out some assets / lighting before placed on the actual map (Useful for when multiple dev's are working on the same map as it means they don't mess with eachother's things) And the reason why the landing craft was in the ship was basically just to be lazy... Means they can just copy and paste it then load up the correct scaling and textures. Oh and almost forgot, the reason for the 2d soldiers and the low textured ship is just for better performance on both consoles (Standard ps4 for example) or low spec computers. Hope this was a nice read for anyone interested in why the dev's do certain things!

The box under the sea may actually refer to a reference place for lightning (source-end location) or gravity . I learned this from game making program Unity 😊

The paper soldiers is actually really cool because in WW2 the Allies forces used a special division of about 1100 troops or 1300 troops? I don't remember exactly but they were called the ghost army. Look it up but that's why I think the paper soldiers is really cool.

Pretty sure the box under the map is just something to kill you for when and if you ever get glitches through the floor of the headquarters. The fall damage will kill you from landing on the solid object.

No. The box is just a box. It's nothing important, just leftovers when the Devs were creating the hq from scratch. When creating a map, all wall models start with that texture on it until the devs retexture them to their liking. It's safe to say the box was the starting point for the map, and they built up from there.

This big box is almost always used when deleloping games. It is placed just under the 0,0,0 coordinates so that people can load in their models and test physics quickly without acctually placing it on the map (if there even is one). This is what I do and is my best guess for why it exists.

My theory as to why that gate is blocking of the zombies area is that this is the map that loads up when the headquarters AA-gun event starts. When you browse the hq challenges you see that there's an AA gun event where you have to shoot down enemy aircrafts and you obtain rare supply drops by doing this somehow. (this has also been mentioned prior to the games release) I'm thinking that during this AA event you will be restricted to the main hq only and won't be able to speak to the quartermaster or check your mail until the event is over. The reason that the order guy's model is there is probably so he can shout instructions how and where to man the AA guns to take out the aircraft.

I don't know much about game development but i think the giant cube is made up of the "brains" (smaller cubes) of the interaction menues, future events, and other everything that can be interacted by or changed by players.

The big box is the skybox for the Anti Aircraft event that has not happened yet. It swaps out with the regular skybox once the event comments

The US crate, I thought I was the first to find that. What I know about it is that it uses the same model from MW2 and MW3. You'll see it in campaign missions or something. But in MW2 if I can remember correctly, if you play S&D on Terminal, go to the bomb inside the plane and you'll see the same crate. I'm not completely sure about it but I think I remember it being there. EDIT: I thought it could of been there to test supply drops and the lighting made the crate look white as it was originally light green.

That box is the main floor geometry with collisions. It's defaulted when they start a new map, like how Blender 3d, or UNREAL ENGINE 4, give you a box to start with. They must've forgotten wot delete, then again, it's not that big of a deal.

The box is just a 3d skybox, it basically contains everything you see outside of the map except its alot smaller inside of there, no secret every single game you play that gas a 3d enviroment usually contains one.
