I love hearing this music on a relaxing, peaceful night. It reminds me of when I was little and stayed up past my bedtime playing my favorite 3DS games in the dark. Some were Nintendogs+Cats, Nintendogs and Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, which this music somehow reminds me of. Maybe because of all those relaxing evening strolls I went on with my Nintendogs, especially when I was in my room pretending I was really there and going to different places. As for Dark Moon I had fun pretending I lived in the Gloomy Manor and loved the outdoor scenery with the moon and all. I even drew my own map to customize the rooms. Unlike the Gloomy Manor the other "mansions" really creeped me out and still do, so I didn't visit those at night. I dont often hear this music in New Horizons since the Switch is turned off around 10, if we even have it on then. So its really nice hearing it here, especially since it reminds me of nostalgic memories.

*This song is one of my favorite hourly themes especially 5pm, What makes it better is that i go to sleep at 10pm and it gives off that "preparing to go to bed" vibe. Never got to hear the 5pm one but sad to know that i rarely hear the 10pm theme. I mostly hear it when i'm visiting my aunt to have a party and when i play animal crossing at that time i hear this.*

this is just a weird personal opinion but i really really like 3am some of the hourly themes feel a little out-of-place for their hour, or just a little generic (not this one) but 3am perfectly encapsulates the feeling of trying to stay awake late into the night
