Where did you buy your lemon grass. The local big box store do not carry them.

local nursery. I saw them at Jacksonville, FL. And you should find it in most local nurseries if you're in the zone. Big box don't.

Honestly not sure where the first plant came from, I think my mom gave me a small plant on a visit a couple years ago. Lemon grass is extremely easy to propagate, I grew all of my plants from that first one. If you take a cutting near the base of a stalk and put it in water, it will have roots within a week or two.

I have a Moringa tree it is enormous (8 feet tall at the moment), and it's planted in my backyard I would like to get rid of it because it turns out that I am allergic to it, not to the tree itself but to ingesting it, yes. Ok moving on, I have tried over and over to grow gandules, and ....nothing happens. I thought or was told that buying a bag of gandules from the store (goya) is the same as purchasing the seeds as seeds, but it has not worked for me, could this be the problem or is there something else that I need to do? HELP PLZ! I AM IN ZONE 9B FLORIDA (POLK CO)

You've probably figured it out by now but there is no need to prune figs to stimulate growth. They will do fine with or w/o pruning. Figs can take a while to get their roots established then take off. Fig rust is normal and just something we all live with in the south. Kale is not a perennial but may be biennial if it survives the winter.

You can actually start eating your Moringa trees leaves now, you don't have to wait. That's one of the best things about them, very little patience required.
