10 PIECES, 45 OUTFITS SUSTAINABLE SUMMER CAPSULE WARDROBE feat. tentree 🌲| AD

Hello Beauties! I’m back with another “mini” capsule wardrobe, this time taking summer style out for a spin. I’ve partnered with tentree to style some of their sustainable pieces in my summer capsule. I was able to come up with 45 outfits out of just these 10 pieces (I didn’t end up counting shoes, so it’s 12 pieces if you count them!) I styled 7 pieces from tentree in this video, which means we’ve planted 70 trees around the world in this video alone!
The more I play with a capsule wardrobe, the more I’m able to see how truly versatile a few good basics are in a wardrobe. You really get to push your style creativity (and your comfort zone) in these mini capsule challenges. I’m pushing my comfort zone here by incorporating shorts and dresses, and I was still pretty impressed to see how many looks I was able to come up with that I actually felt GOOD in, using pieces I usually skip in my wardrobe (...like shorts, dresses lol).

Lightweight dresses are so much cooler than anything else in the summer. Where I live it's ninety degrees with ninety per cent humidity, so they are more comfortable. Plus, we traveled in India and stopped at a rest stop one time, and I was so glad I decided to wear a dress to use the hole in the floor!

I dont know how you feel about accesories, but I think it can make such a difference, especially when styling basic pieces. I dont really like necklaces (or anything around my neck really haha) in the summer, but maybe more colorful shoes, handbags, belts and headbands or scarfs worn around the head or braided in the hair :)) just some suggestions to not get bored during the summer!

Love this!!! Wish they had more colors in that slip dress, I’ve been looking for a brown one. Shopping sustainable is kind of a hunt sometimes. Save Lands is also a good company that plants trees! Just another option for ya... They don’t have as many basics but they have cute graphics😉😁

I just can't get over that you would wear a jean jacket or a blazer in the summer...I live in Kelowna ,BC and it's just way too hot any day or even night time. Maybe the weather really changes between the city and cottage country because my nephew lives in Toronto , right downtown and it's usually the same if not hotter there then where I am...29 degrees is a cool day. Granted this summer is very weird and cooler than usual but at some point almost every summer it hits close to 40 degrees. Great if it works for you...

Thank you so much! I’m still working on this, honestly and don’t think I’m going a great job balancing work and me-time yet. Scheduling filming/editing so far has really helped, but still need to work on this so I’m not just all work/no play. Luckily KZbin is fun for me, but it altogether can be tiring sometimes to balance both. ❤️
