Thank you for the video bro, by the way, should I use the same settings that you used for every voice over that I make or should I change some values according to my specific voice ? I'm a bit confused here and I don't want to ruin my career as a voice over artist with some bad editing voices, thank you again

While the settings I used can be a good starting point, it's always best to experiment and adjust them to fit your unique voice and tone for the best results!

Hi Mike, Great tuto, very clear and precise (and very understandable for my English language 😊). I have created a kind of meddley with different songs, eliminating the blanks, adjusting the sound levels, etc. with Audacity. I have put everything together and it is nice. However, I have now a single long track. I don’t know how to export this track keeping the different clips name inside the overall track. So that I can read the name of each clip on my tablet or my smartphone (through the corresponding tags). A kind of music album, with one song after another. Thanks for your kind help and advice about how to do that. All the best, knarf from France 🎸 🇨🇵 😊
@MikeRussell28 күн бұрын
Hey Knarf! Thanks for the awesome feedback! To keep those clip names when exporting, just hit up the "Export Multiple" feature in Audacity. Super easy! If you get stuck, just holler! 🎶

Hey, Mike. Thanks for these tips. I was using your recommended settings from another of your videos, but after updating Audacity they no longer pass ACX check. Included was NORMALIZATION after noise reduction back then. Do you no recommend that anymore? Thanks.

Glad you found the tips helpful, and sorry to hear the updated settings didn't pass the ACX check - I'll look into that normalization issue and provide an update soon!

Hi Mike and everybody. I miss the possibility to select a part of the clips to move or relocate them. I just know the function to choose all together Ctr.+A. Do you have any tips on this?

Hey! Totally get what you mean! If you haven’t already, try using the slice tool or just clicking while holding down shift. It’s way easier than Ctrl+A for sure! Happy editing!

How can you easily play forwards and backwards to find specific parts of the clip? I’m used to JKL keyboard shortcuts in video editing software.

In Audacity, you can use the Spacebar to play your audio forwards, and Shift + Spacebar to play backwards to easily navigate and find specific parts of your clip!

@@peppepop *My motivation (of course) was not to insult the creator, but to point out that this could be a problem for him.* If people are suddenly cancelling their subscriptions, it could be because KZbin is recommending the videos of this channel to them every day, even though they've told to no longer recommend those well known videos.
