Dude, not for beginners. How about a simple way to remove dead space or voice, or even a few words that need to be edited out? All the stuff in this video doesn't address anything a new person would need to know.

"Terms and conditions of use" and "license agreements" - I think this is where anyone hesitant to use services on such platforms should always start. It doesn't matter what is written on the title pages; they always sound tempting but are worth reading only if we agree with the points at the top beforehand. If we still decide to use them, there's nothing wrong with that, it will be a lot of fun! And yet we should be aware of how dear to us what we are about to share is, just so to be sure it remains fun all way long ;)

Any tips on how to consistently maintain your position with your mic? I recently recorded myself and heard my voice change as if I’d gotten farther way during a segment. I wasn’t aware that I had moved. Also I need consistency if I’m making a long recording but need to go back and re-record something that can’t be fixed in edit.

Doiesnt work because when you use 2 different mics it uses only 1 mic on all tracks and i wanted to record different mics like my voice and the guest voice...

Do you have a feel for which might be best for background noises over dialogue such as an aircraft going overhead or a siren in the background, or a hammer or car door slam? The usual issues of filming people in London, for example...
@MikeRussellКүн бұрын
The Rode NTG4+ or Sennheiser MKH 416 would be great options for capturing clear dialogue while minimizing background noises like aircraft or sirens.

Thanks Mike. We used a MKE600 on a recent interview. Small crews (current affairs) doing camera and sound. I put a Lav on one channel and MKE on the second. I put a Lav on one channel and MKE on the second. The MKE is often too far away to compete with background so I'm researching plugins that could be leant on to clean up the odd thud or bang over a line. Mics are direct into camera to the Pre-amps aren't the best but it's a solid codec on the camera at least. Love your channel that I've just come across - you've got a great voice!

NS1 is unbelievable. I've had ugly high frequency noises in my RODE Podcaster, that came from somewhere within the room. The NS1 got rid of that entirely.

You're great! Any tips for editing keyboard recordings? Ive made 15 for my small, new channel, but I want to make the keys sound richer. How to improve "phone sound" quality?? thanks much!
@MikeRussellКүн бұрын
Try using EQ to boost the low end and high end frequencies, and also experiment with compression to even out the levels and make your keyboard recordings sound fuller and more professional!

You can actually use the "Edit" menu and select "Select All" to select all tracks, then make the changes to one track and it will apply to all selected tracks!
