I started wearing makeup at 50 too. Lol. I used soap on my face and no lotion until I hit 50. Lol. Divorce did it. I wore makeup and used to take care of my skin better before I got married. Ex didn't like me wearing makeup and so forth so it was the 1st thing I did when we split up. I'm really showing wrinkles n stuff but I still look better with makeup. :)

Wait till you try skincare. I'm 50 in June and started skincare seriously 8 yrs ago. I look better than ever. Better than 30 K-beauty is best for the dollar. Sunblock is like water too. Look for the sunblock as with essence in the name. Or watch Kelly Driscoll shell tell it better.

I love the Guerlain Lingerie foundation as well. I tried it on a whim when scrolling through foundations on Sephora. It is the one of the few I use by itself. Chanel Le Teint Velvet and Surrat Dew Drop are the other two. I tend to mix foundations to get the correct shade and level of coverage. The Guerlain 24K gold radiance primer is lovely as well. You look gorgeous as always. Appreciate your videos and can't wait for the next one.

I agree about under eye corrector-I love the Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown, & Becca….whichever one, using a corrector helps a lot, especially if you have pronounced dark circles. Girl same experience here with the airbrush primer! Also, I found the Guerlain foundation during the shelter in place and I’ve been in love with it since. I have normal skin for the most part and it lasts all day, and honestly is a little matte on me but I love it! Good finds!!

Hi Risa, is the new Hourglass primer better than the Dior Backstage primer? What is the difference? I'd love to know. Yeah! You tried the Dior Forever powder. It's the best loose powder!If you buff with the Dior powder no powder after the Forever loose powder, your face will look perfectly airbrushed and set all day. Best combo of powders on the market IMHO. Thanks so much.

Interesting, I was excited to investigate the Guerlain foundation so I went to the brand website and they don't even list it. Just one called Le Essential. Also I noticed that Sephora and other sites include 18 arm swatches but are only selling 14 shades. Unfortunately the color I'm sure I would need (01W) Isn't one of them. I wonder if this is being phased out?

All of the products that you have featured are beautiful! Unfortunately they are up there in price… However we get what we pay for….. You are the second you tuber who has talked about the lingerie foundation. Although it’s $63, foundation is something that will make or break your entire makeup look. Fortunately I see that it is sold at Sephora so I don’t have to guess my color online. We all know how that does not work out😳. I’ve been wearing MAC Studio Sculpt FOREVER..It is A great coverage foundation throughout my 40s… Now that I have crossed over 50 I’m finding the Mac to be a little dull on me. I’ve been mixing my Mac with IT CC Cream for more of a dewy finish… i’m really enjoying that and I think it looks much better on my “mature” skin. I am going to invest in the Lingerie De Peau Fondation👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Thank you so much for sharing your products with us❤️

I bought this product just as the pandemic hit us so have never used it. Do you moisturise legs/arms first ? and would you recommend using a mitt or is it ok to use bare hands to apply? My legs have barely seen daylight let alone sun since 2019 and they badly need some colour 😮

I tried to love the new Hourglass primer, I used it 5-6 times with different foundations hoping to love it, but I just don’t. It did control oil and I do have an oily t-zone, but it didn’t look great on my 40’s skin. It didn’t do enough for my texture and pores and for a $56 price tag I think it should. Once I found myself reaching for my other primers I knew should return it.
