Okami actually got something of a ''sequel'' (although the term ''spiritual successor'' is more appropriate) in Nintendo DS under the title ''Okamiden'', but the most fans usually refuse to accept it as a sequel, despite being very simillar to the original Okami.

It wasn't as good as the original. The technical limitations held it back. It may have been better if it was on the 3DS.

Okami was such a beautiful and fun game , I got it at first release, first I was disappointed by lack of voice acting but I soon got over that and played it at least 5 times loving everytime. I was so shocked it didn't make a big hit.

Well it's two legendary games that I wish that had an another sequel again and that's Jak and Daxter and Sly Cooper. If Sony allows Naughty Dog inc and Suckerpunch production to make a new Jak and Daxter sequel game and a new Sly Cooper sequel game then I would be very glad😊❤

Dark Cloud 2, and Bully are by far the best PS2 games I have ever played.

Man what a good times these were. I would really love Beyond Good and Evil (knowing what happened at the end). Also, while I don't play shooters, I loved Black and Okami really needs a new game. Missed a few on the list though. Rogue Galaxy for example was also a lovely game without any sequel as far as I know.

The only thing missing from this list that truly deserves a sequel is the psi-ops-like game called SECOND SIGHT. Such a perfect example of the PS2 era.

I remembered and played Beyond Good and Evil while i was a teen and i agree this list topic. I just wished Ubisoft don't just make many excuses for that delaying the sequel. ❤😢 That includes Dark Clouds.

Bully remains my absolute favorite Rockstar game. I love it more than the GTA and the RDR franchise. The fact that you get to know most of the NPCs and that most levels/chapters are genuinely different from each other made it so special. Add to that the excellent voice acting and amazing storyline make it one of the best games ever made.

OKAMI, BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL and BULLY are Games what I've heared for but never played, would LOVE to buy and play those Games for My PLAYSTATION 2 defienitily as a Fan of japanese Mythology and Wolf is My Favourite Animal i'm interested of playing OKAMI. I've been heared many Good things about of Bully the Bad guy of School, for Fans Secuel of Bully would be AWESOME. By the way is Beyond Good and Evil a Good Game, defienitily LOVE that a BEAUTIFUL Female Protagonist Character. PLAYATATION 2 is one of the BEST Console in History, it was My First Console what I've played in My Childhood Games like RATCHET AND CLANK, CRASH BANDICOOT and SLY COOPER. I still have Our over 20 Years old Console and it's still works Good. It's NICE I've borned after 2000's in 2002 and i'm same age with PS2 Games like DARK CLOUD 2 what came in 2002. What about Summoner 2? The original was an amazing (if flawed) launch title for the PS2, and the sequel was one of those hidden gems. With Volition Studios closing down, it will never happen.

Fun fact. Beyond good and evil 2 was the main reason that I bought an Xbox 360 in 2008.

The second reason was Ninja Gaiden 2. I had never played the first one because I could only afford a Gamecube when I grew up, but I loved the NES games, 3D beat 'em ups in general and Dead or Alive 3 when I got the chance to play it while visiting Xbox owners who had the game. And I thought the first game looked awesome in 2004 and the sequel looked just as great. But when I bought the Xbox 360 I downloaded Ninja Gaiden Black and the demo for Ninja Gaiden 2 and I thought the games were too difficult, so I never bought the game.

Okami technically had a sequel but it wasn't very good. It was held back by technical limitations and it used the same world. I want a proper sequel of it. Oh yeah, Beyond Good & Evil 2 is never coming out.
