My electric tea kettle has been used several times daily since 1991 and is still working beautifully. Know how to unplug it from the wall, pop the lid off to fully dry it out immediately after use and durability skyrockets. It was spendy at the time, but that Russell Hobbs has more than paid for itself via durability.

My best friend and I love our electric kettles and use them several times a day. I have extremely limited counter space. My electric kettle and microwave (only place I could put it) are the only devices on the countertop. I would add for kitchen items worth investing in are a slow cooker, a rice cooker, and a magnetic knife rack.

I finally have Spotify premium and it’s changed a lot in my life since now I can always listen to music which I really enjoy doing. I spend less time aimlessly on KZbin or doing other things because I can get all the music I want whenever I want. Still not sure if I should also get KZbin Premium since there’s a lot of music here that I do like and I love not having ads here, but I’ll figure that out in the future. Also for those on the fence, the $14 electric kettle I got from target has been a game changer for a few years. I cook a lot more at home because a lot of those meals and drinks that needed hot water this kettle expedites the time. I find myself making more breakfast and tea since it’s fast and easy to use. Definitely invest in one, doesn’t need to be expensive either.

Not so sure if "Purchases that are worth it" is such a great idea for channels allegedly promoting minimalism. I mean, isn´t the basic idea of minimalism that all purchases are mindful? So why pick out a certain number of things (more or less) randomly? It's kind of like throwing away all my plates just to get new ones which are more aesthetically pleasing, so I can display them in a video. To me, this seems to promote selective consumerism, and is thus, to some extent a logical contradiction to the concept of minimalism (Use what you already have) I can understand creators have to put out videos every other week to be continuously successful. However, I think this one can do much better.
