About 7+ years ago, before white was second or third best at drawing cards, Mask of Memory was basically a staple in white, red, and Boros commander decks. It’s a pretty solid way to draw/select cards.

Yeah retrace is a great ability. It means that lands are never a dead draw even if you're flooded. Yes you can mess yourself up by using it too much, too early but mid to late game it can be a gamewinner in itself.

nethroi and death's shadow are kinda gross cuz negative power means you can pick creatures with power greater than 10, theres another creature people use too cuz it has a negative power

Hmm, this begs the question. You talked about power 9. Taht would be 10, sure. But today with Foot Soldiers touching the bottom with 1.3, what is the lowest card you can think of? Is there even a 1?

Am I crazy or does the randomizer seem to favor cards from Tarkir block? I swear each video it gives him at least one card from those sets, if not multiple like this video

I had a Varolz deck with Death's Shadow and Phyrexian Dreadnaught to scavenge huge cheap creatures... it was not a good deck...
