This video is ridiculous. I owned a 1962 T-Bird and I'd say it was the most beautiful car I've ever owned. The styling was totally awesome. You could criticize the later T-Birds, but not this one.

This should be buried in a cave-first clip on the Valiant is mixing non U.S. versions (right hand drive) and U.S. versions. I gave up after less than 2 minutes.

I agree with you on the '61 Dart (hideous from stem to stern), the '60 Valiant, same opinion as the '61 Dart. The Marlin no matter what year was produced to compete (Ha!) with the big 3's fastback beauties. It lost. The Rambler Rogue, another AMC really wasn't that bad but still screamed Grandma's here. The rest on your list were beautiful with only the Corvair being slightly questionable. The 2nd generation looked good it just had a bad reputation. How you could put Avanti on your list is unfathomable. It's gorgeous design was copied by the big 3 for many years and if cars come back again to replace crossovers or whatever they want to call today's transportation, no doubt you'll see Avanti styling cues again. Oh, that's right, you're AI so you won't see a damn thing. And as for the '62 Thunderbird, another beauty you have no clue about. The new body style was Introduced in '61 as was the new Continental both sharing the same cowl tooling and numerous other equipment and components. It was never considered an economy car. Though available in several models, it was a 2 door personal luxury car that filled the void where Continental only came with 4 doors. Opinions are fine, Blasphemy is inexcusable.

I can't argue with any of your choices. The Marlin was panned at the time for being too large to have the fastback roof but so did the '66-'67 Charger. He kept going back and forth picturing generations of the Corvair. I didn't care for the first but the '65 on were very attractive.

This video only shows the fact that car manufacturers back then did not concern themselves with designing and making cars the people wanted to buy. Had Ford stuck with the design of the original T-bird as GM did the Corvette, they would have had a very successful future.

The video compares a Corvair as "less appealing compared to the muscle cars of the era". The Corvair wasn't a muscle car or ever considered a performance car. It was a less expensive and more fuel efficient regular car. I don't know if it was ugly, but this is a ridiculous comparison.

I like the T-bird. At 4:10; Wrong T-bird. The Avanti is cool. At 9:03 to 9:13; Wrong Corvairs, then again at 9:52 to 9:55. Btw; I like the late model Corvair styling. I have to go back waiting till the end (if I can make it there) to give a "Like", well, goodby to this "like" and hello to a "Dislike".
