Yes. The Wet dome connection to the dry port is not very sturdy and with the waves will break. Also, for above water you don’t need 0.7 magnification coefficient.

Hi - very interesting video and nice shots. I own a RX100 VII and was looking at that housing, but I see that there are some limitations on the buttons when going into larger depths. Do you have any experience with it? Also, what port are you using for Lenses & Filters? It seems the standard port does not have a 67mm thread.

Hi, to which depth are you planning to take it? I never had an issue with the buttons. I am use dry port + wet lens that correct the distortion of the water. Or the 6” dry dome. i would the first option but for freediving it takes time for the lens to fill with water.

Your video really interesting with rx 100. Are you recommending and flash for photography with using Sony rx 100?

I don’t use flash when I take photos. I mainly take photos of freedivers (you can see the results on my IG). But when I take videos of marine life, mainly macro, I use video lights.
