I agree with all your reasons. And agreed, superficially, when I compared the Oru Inlet to other foldables, I just thought it looked amazing. I've been kayaking for 40 years but much less so in the past few years because of having to pick it up and load and unload it on my car. With my 20 lb. Inlet, I can throw it in (not ON) my car and take it everywhere. I got it late last summer so only got it on the water once, but am so looking forward to this year! You're lucky to live where ice, snow, cold water aren't here for 6+ months a year!

I actually just ordered an Inlet since I've gotten a bit more money and time with my new job. I live in an apartment and needed something small and the Oru kayaks really seemed to fit what I needed. I'm not really into hardcore stuff but I love exploring. Hoping it turns out well. I'm one of those who will run something until it's irreparable so I will do whatever I can to make mine last! These videos have been very helpful for me. Thank you for uploading them.

Just bought the Inlet. I have an Old Town 15 ft canoe, but too heavy to load on top of the Jeep by myself efficiently, dragging it up there while scraping up vehicle and canoe, just no good. This Oru should make going out on the water so much more pleasant.

I tried 3 places to try to get the ORU Lake footrest but it never went in to the Cart. 😢

I think they are both great kayaks. I wouldn't say the inlet is better, it's just a little different. It's a little longer and takes a tiny bit more time to put together.

Thanks! The new beach LT sport looks really interesting. I do like that it has the rail system so you can add accessories easily. For me, I don't think I would get it because if I get another Oru I would get the Bay ST cause I think it would give me the most options.
