@@ivanmusto100 oh yes I’ve had a Cambodian gf since 2018…she did not measure up to the 3 things I mentioned… I’m not about to go into details…just take my word on this. But of course there are exceptions to every rule

dating in cambodia is a bit like the western world in the 1950s. the man has to be the provider and leader in the relationship. the traditional gender roles are still in tact

It’s because Westerners love/prefer more yellowish/brown skin + the more traditional Khmer culture

Ah good news. I have another question. If you did the ceremony with family and friends back in October 2021 can you file the paperwork retroactively? In other words if I apply and file papers now for marriage can I use the October 2021 date as our marriage date?
