What a great video. It was particularly funny that I opened your video a few moments after conference ended, so the intro fit right in. I am in central Arizona and we have some great riding country, but don't be surprised if I come up your way to take in some sights. As always, you produce a very high quality product and the St. George Chamber of commerce should love what you are doing! Thanks, Chris (AKA Blueheeler)

Hey you guys. I lived/worked in Utah for 16 years, never had any issues with the locals, really good people that frequently get a bad rap from people who are ignorant about the state and the people. What you see from Everide is what you get. I live in Florida now but keep a bike out there and go out to ride every year for a month or two. Also. Great riding all around, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and etc, etc, etc. you only go around once, don’t miss out.

Each Adventure, You should have been with us at The Flying Monkey Rally last weekend around Zion and in St. George on Monday and Tuesday on the ride Tyler led for Patrons. Put it on your calendar for next year, watch the Flying Monkey Facebook group for the date and sign up man! Bring the TT250 and let's see if we can have eveRide to do one of his highly popular "brutally honest reviews" on it. The Rally was only $75 including a campsite for three nights. In St George those of us who camped did it for free! . . . Okay, there was a little dust storm that passed through the area on Sunday night but the worst of it was over by morning. :-D Seriously Josh, you should do it.

I really, really wanted to go this year but I just couldn't make it happen with all the stuff I have going on this month. I am definitely planning on making it out there next year though. I have been seeing all the pictures on the Flying Monkey facebook page and it looks like it was an amazing time. Unfortunately, I no longer have the TT250... I had an opportunity come up to get a new bike for a great deal so I had to get rid of one of them... the TT250 drew the short straw lol. I'll have a video talking about that decision soon ;)

Great video of the area and overview - just got back from that area (among many others all over the western states) on a recent ADV ride on my R1200GS covering nearly 8,000 miles... I have to agree with you that Utah is very special. While I did NOT ride any goat trails there, I did a lot of the red and amber dirt roads, some at very high speed (I was running Shinko 804 & 805 big block tires in case you're wondering) - what a wonder that state is... The only downside I experienced, which was more entertaining then anything was the small, attractive mom & pop cafe along a small highway shortly after entering Utah from Idaho where I pulled over early one morning for what would be the worst breakfast I have ever experienced on this plain of existence served up by the most unfriendly servers I've ever met, surrounded by the most unfriendly local folk ever... Yep, really that bad and the only thing I can think of is that I wondered in to the place with my full ADV suit on (less the helmet of course), putting my phone away as I walked in and looked up to see a nearly full establishment, all stone quiet and staring at me as if I had just landed from another plaine, alien, unexpected and seriously NOT wanted there! I stopped waved congenially at everyone and stated something to the effect that "this looked like a good place to stop and have breakfast" - everyone went back to eating and conversation... I noted pamphlets on all the tables once I sat, and on mine there was one with the title, something to the effect of "Understanding Women" and another "How to Annoy the Idiots in Your Life"... I realized then that I had interdimensionally landed in the Old Mormon Heaven and was doomed if I didn't leave ASAP... Oh yes, I also was given the absolute worst coffee I had ever tasted as well - Clearly this entire community was vehemently opposed to ADV riders invading their heavenly eating establishment... Yikes! I still left a tip and chuckled to myself as I drove off, headed towards the South Western portion of the state where everywhere else, peaple were wonderful and in fact, people were astoundingly wonderful Everywhere else I went! It was an amazing 44 day adventure as rich in spiritual depth as it was in physical, non-linear wonder...

Probably the best "come visit (any state)" infomercial I've seen! Thought about moving to Utah several years and three children ago. Wanted somewhere I could ride year round, Not a reality now. Although it looks fun, I'd probably miss the tree topped mountains and trout streams of Appalachia . Not sure how true it is, but, I heard that if you aren't Mormon, your probably not gonna get a good paying job in Utah. Oh, well.

SteelnReel that probably depends on the specific area, any place you work depends on who you know and it is unfortunate but I've noticed that it is the norm. I'm sure the greater Vegas area or Phoenix area would be close enough.

So, ... I'm kind of your target audience. Reluctantly middle age, been riding for more than 35 years, but I haven't been on a dirt bike since half my life ago. All the sudden, I'm shopping for a small dual sport to ease back into trail and desert puttering. Probably not full on Dakar style adventures, but I'm in a state a bit south of you, so plenty of day ride opportunities. Thinking along the lines of the CRF Rally with a set of "hey fatty" springs. Suggestions?

Saw your post. Your story sounds like mine. Im new to southern new Mexico from outside Philly. I came loaded for bear. Ktm 1290 super adventurer. I put a set of knobbys on her and headed out with much bravado and confidence. It didn't take me to long to figure out that i was way over my head and luckily sand doesn't hurt when the bike let's you know that your have no business being there without the skill sets. Next day I had a drz400s next to the ktm. I Got rid of the ktm and learned how to ride on the sand on that drz. No regrets. Great tool. Hope you got your drz and enjoying your adventures.
