I think whats funny is, the lore says Miqote's are supposed to be rare, coming from a continent during some kind of ice age and crossing a frozen land bridge, hence why moon keepers are only found in the dense forest canopy as poachers, and sun keepers seeking dry desert areas to make tribes.

To be fair, they really aren't that rare. Looking at the random NPCs you find around the city states, you'll quickly notice that Miqo'te are pretty common across most walks of life. Miners, botanists, crafters, soldiers, etc. They're definitely rarer outside of Eorzea, but they're definitely more common than the lore seems to imply.

lol this is exactly why my keeper boi abandoned his tribe in his lore, also because he didn't want to be breeding stock (which is basically one of the males' only use in keeper tribes) he was adopted by a hyur family and asked if they could rename him to get rid of the stupid ass number name, he has a hyur-ish name now which I think is cute and fits his lore ^ ^

I started as a Seeker of the Sun Miqo'te and through Fantasia, I have been a female Elezen, Femroe, male Elezen, Au Ra girl, Lala, and a Bun girl and Bun Boi. I've been all over the place but I always go back to being a cat. I'm most consistently a Miqo'te, but I've settled as a Keeper of the Moon. Thank you for the bonus points for white hair. Actually, I started with purple hair and eventually black with blue highlights (my cat Sable passed away so I decided to honor him in game by having the black Coeurl kitten follow me around and changing my in game last name). The reason I keep coming back is because of how cute and expressive they are. They just have the purrfect energy for me!

My Miqo'te actually has white hair, although I gave her some black highlights. I made those highlights darker and deeper late last year, to give the impression that she's grown a bit older and more mature after 2000 hours of game time. There was no deeper meaning to it, I just thought the combo paired well with the keeper of the moon's darker and more desaturated skin colours.

But to be honest the race I like playing the most is maximum height, biggest boobed Femroe. You don't even need to attack some of the mobs when you're a GAX swinging giant femoroe MRD/WAR. They run away in FEAR!

I feel like out of all the races, Au Ra have hands-down the most fascinating lore, tying in as it does with the Zodiark/Hydaelyn story arc, and naming conventions that tell stories in and of themselves. I'd agree, though, that their animations don't quite measure up to mi'qote's, which genuinely are on another level.

I started as Miqo'te but I am a fantasia addict. In other MMOs I am an altaholic but since this game you can be everything on one class I instead....fantasia a lot. I don't know what it is but I've only been Miqo'te twice. Something about it bothers me. like, they are adorable but when I am a Miqote I'm like...nah. I think my brain is trying to be edgy or something because I love being a Duskwight Elezen and a femroe. But now I am a bun (training myself to not rely on hats since I wanna go femHrothgar) so I have no idea. Maybe I'm so used to seeing them as other people that when I am one it feels weird?

Team Highlander 4 life! Started as a Highlander and never looked at other races. She's just awesome and bad ass. I just love her slightly annoyed expression she has in cutscenes. I used one of my two fantasias (the one that came with a deluxe edition and the level 50 one) just to make her taller. And i love the emotes, as the Highlander is the most expressive one. The only thing i don't like about Highlander? Their Version of the Hempen Camise. This stringy nothing... i love the Miqo-Version of that Hempen and just wish i could wear that as a highlander. I'm not into overly "sexy" glam, so i really miss a "basic tee" for Highlanders.

I'm a Miqo'te because I just love them, I'm a male Miqo'te so it can represent myself in game. I made mine darker and more like getting in a warmode stand. I don't really like cuteness in my character other than races like Lallafell. But hey that's just me you know haha. But I love that sit animation, it's like going into stealth mode for me ready to jump.

Oh, I looked at these stat recently. My FC still laugh about it occassionally, especially about Au Ra. Out of out 20 daily player, we're 3 male au ra, so statiscally, we have 3 girlfriend. Way back in 2010 in the closed Alpha test there where no Miqo'te :O very strange lol! 13 years later I often play as a Miqo'te when I want to go back to my roots but the cat I had did not port as well as I liked graphicly so I changed her face even though it is my character from then. I love Midlander female and Au ra are really nice. The issue with all the races is we need better customisation for all races ^O^
