Highest level of education on my ds was high school so I carried that together with my ds confirmation age,LOE, passport,and passport photo American standard I was aske two questions and no document was requested of me other than my passport,DS confirmation page and LOE

If the situation that made the B1/B2 Visa be denied hasn't changed, yes it can be a reason for denial of C1/D Visa.

I think only P&O Australia. You'd be needing an Australian Maritime Crew Visa which is way easier to get. However P&O Australia pays in Australian Dollars and the pay is low. Food is not the best for crews too. Lastly I'm currently a Crew member for them & would be going home soon.
