What I love about Sam's Club is the ability to shop online and have my items either delivered to my house or to the pickup location, no extra charge and it doesn't have a minimum monetary amount to meet for that transaction. I have a plus membership and it allows me to have a second card for my daughter in another state. I can also order things online to be picked up at any location in the USA, so I can get things for my kids and they can pick them up. Makes it so I don't have to mail Christmas gifts!!!

@@eileenthomas6342 Just like Walmart, you can order anything from their website and go pick it up. By having Plus, I pay no shipping fees and I can just order a $5.00 item and go pick it up. unlike Walmart where I have to order a minimum of $35.00 each time. I know Walmart has some sort of "pay to shop" where you may be free delivery and be able to not meet the minimum, but I'm not sure how that works.

I agree on Sam’s produce. The grapes right now are fantastic. Love their deals on mushrooms, and potatoes as well. The pasta and tomato sauce is worth it too. Love the quantities for our family. We always get our moneys worth. Yes the baked beans with brisket is excellent. I love their gas prices and they are convenient.

that is a complaint i hear that people won't shop at these clubs because they have to pay a membership fee on top but i have a plus membership and get more back on my sams credit card than what i paid for the membership fee so i am ahead of the game and we are just a family of two.

I agree with everything you said about Sam's Club. We are an hour away from our Florida Sam's, so we use the free shipping that comes with our membership. Cancelled Costco a few years ago and haven't looked back.

We have the membership plus and on a lot of the items (not produce or frozen items) we get free delivery. We live in rural America about 60 miles away from the nearest Sam’s club. This is worth the membership fee alone. So we have our paper products delivered for two families just so we are not having to make the room in our vehicles on shopping day.

I love Sam's ! 1. $5 rotisserie chickens! 2. So many samples it's lunch! 3. Café area sundaes are cheap and huge! 4. Baby bella mushrooms are so cheap. 5. Tp prices 6. Soooo many fresh veggies 7. Personally think Sam's club sends their older produce to Walmart because those shoppers are used to having most things of a lower cheaper quality and just grateful for what they can get. Albertsons and Whole Foods and Sprouts and Trader Joes has excellent fresh produce but they are a bit more expensive. Don't really like having to shop Walmart for almost everything but logistically and budget dictate my current shopping choices.

I got a Sam’s club membership and went for the first time last week. For getting their card I got $30 credit. They have some great prices . Only thing I don’t like is the card has an interest rate of 28.99 % . When I go and use the card it will only benefit me into pay it off each time. Which I will do after I go this next week. They had canned mushrooms that needed up being 90 cents a piece. Wow cheaper than other places. Ended up sampling some lasagna and buying a package for supper that night. So we will see what I get next week when we go.

I’m always looking at the prices of products in all the stores, looking for the chance to make some money. I often notice how each supermarket has cheese or butter or ground meat on sale, each in turn of each other. Here in Great Britain they call it price comparison, I call it out as being price fixing

Sam's is about 30 miles away. We've been there more in the past year than we ever have. We mostly shop for paper goods (paper plates, napkins, etc.) and pantry items. The nearest Costco is 50 miles away around the Plain City, Dublin and I won't go to that area unless I have to! I hate going to Columbus.

I have yet to buy the paper towels or potty paper from Sams.I have been getting so many great buys from Kroger and am loaded u p.I have picked up the BIG packages of Kleenex, but not tried their own tissues. I had a great time with the Employee of the Month, at Sam's on Thursday, who was making and passing out potstickers. The man was fun! Not that the others were ever unfriendly.

I have both Sam club and Costco I like Costco better bc they have better Christmas section and u have cashier's to check u out and Costco also help you if you are trying to find something u don't have to search for somebody to help you. Are Sam club if you are in the back of the store u have to walk all the way to the front of the store it reminds me of going to Walmart. I feel more at home at Costco and their very helpful at Costco. I like both stores for different reasons. This is my opinion in Arizona

Costco does have a hearing aid center, the replacement batteries are a fraction of the cost. Vision center is awesome and more professional than my Sam’s club. Also clothes are a lot higher quality and don’t shrink up like the cheap Sam’s club clothes. I love Costco’s housewares department. I do shop Sam’s bi-weekly because they are 15 mins from my house and Costco is at least 45 minutes away so I keep a running list for items I only get at Costco’s and go there quarterly.

that is a shame. the filthy grubby store by me is my local kroger and my sam is very clean but i do go first thing in the morning thou and say hi to their best employee seeing he is back now. that is the remote scrubber you see in the video that also alerts the staff when the shelf gets low to drop another pallet to the floor. that kroger is on the chopping block if this kroger /albertson deal ever happens but it is going backwards for now. more and more states are starting to vote against it so not sure what will happen unless they sell more off to other companies besides just the 1 third party now. they are starting to realize having the number 1 and number 2 chain combined will be too big of a monopoly to benefit the general public.

I have a hard time getting past the fact you have to pay yearly just to shop there? I don't do Sam's or Costco. Also I look for really good deals on tp. Plenty stocked right now but if I find a true sale I will always buy more. I calculate it by what I'm paying per roll. I only buy when it's under 50cents per roll. It's just to wipe your rear and flush down the toilet.

It might work as a theory for someone who is not specific and has no other places around with Costco close enough so it actually makes sense. @@janedowasjanedow That is the difference in people, you see it as an expense. I come from a business run family and see it as an investment. I will spend the $110 to get back $200 or whatever i earn back that year in rewards besides on top of buying things in bulk for a cheaper price per pound. i am a flipper and i will buy anything for a $100 and flip it for more, even a membership fee. Basicly that is what i am doing. i am always spending money first to get a return later, sometimes i get extra bonus on top of it. My wife and her family look at things differently then me and my family. they buy by price tag, cheap is what they think saves them money but my side might spend more initially but we get the item cheaper when you buy in bulk and break the items down to the same poundage/size. Wife had a hard time seeing it my way for a long time and i still catch her wanting to buy the smaller size because it is cheaper than the bigger one even though it cost you double when you figure it out by the weight. yes you might have to make sacrifices at first to buy that bigger item but eventually it flips and you got more prepping stock for less money than a person that buys the same product every week. doesn't matter what it is food or other items.

I have executive membership at Costco and regular membership at Sam's. They are both 25 miles from me. I love the scan & go, Sam's packaged sandwich meats and sliced cheeses are really good, rotisserie chicken I like Costcos seasoning better. I've had great customer service at both places but obviously the more you frequent them the more you feel if its like a neighborhood vibe or not. Now for TP I've used Costcos for many years but shrinkflation took the rolls down to 380 sheets per roll (30 rolls) same price but Aldi still has for the same price as the Costco package 425 sheets per roll still 30 rolls. And its just as soft. Both stores have very good private label items.

I get most of my paper products from Walgreens and Big lots. Walgreens paper products are cheap,, their paper towels and toilet tissue. Also Big lots gives coupons. 5.00 off $15 or 20% off everything you buy.

I have a Sam's Club membership. They do have a lot of good prices on many items. You really have to do your homework. Many people just assume it's bulk, so it must be a better deal. Not always the case. Love the scan and go. The curbside pick-up is the best! The biggest thing that Costco has over Sam's Club is that they carry healthier options. Organics, low carb, etc. Sam's would definitely get more business if they would do the same.
