I am also a Bengals fan but my girlfriend is a Browns fan. A buddy of mine who is also a Bengals fan has a wife who is a Steelers fan. Every football season they are at each other's throats and have a love/hate relationship with each other during football season which makes for some really great sex, or so I'm told. I feel so left out and wish my GF and I had that, but the Bengals/Browns rivalry has all but fizzled out. In fact, I usually root for the Browns against everyone except the Bengals because I feel sorry for her and the rest of their fanbase.

Depending on how you view semantics and NFL legalese; the Cleveland Browns from 1999 are a new expansion team and thus didn’t exist in the 80’s. Modell moved the original Browns team to Baltimore and they became the Ravens. Teams move all the time without it being a new franchise, but here Cleveland threatened to sue Modell so he let them keep the name and history in a trust.

As a Cleveland fan and a die hard Browns fan its really painful looking at what we could've had, Julio Jones, Sammy Watkins, Odell Beckham, Derek Carr (who I thought we were going to draft) every year Cleveland is looking forward to the draft no matter what week of the season it is and that is not how any other fans in the NFL are.
