Are you struggling with constant negative thoughts and not sure why?
Nik & Eva discuss the 10 possible causes of your negative thinking.
Once you know why, you can look to change. Why is this important? Well researchers at University College London said repetitive negative thinking (RNT) was linked to the deposit of harmful proteins in the brain which are associated with Alzheimer's disease. "Depression and anxiety in midlife and old age are already known to be risk factors for dementia," said Dr Natalie Marchant, the lead author from the UCL division of psychiatry.

Thanks guys for this video, it was really helpful, people always tell me in college to stop being so negative all the time but it's not just as easy as that. It really helps knowing why I think like that in the first place ❤️

Hey Sadia, so pleased the tips gave you an understanding. You can change you mindset, but like anything that you want to get good at you need to practice daily and you won't get results overnight. Gratitude is the starting point of changing negative thinking and we have a video on gratitude on our channel plus we will be posting more in the future together with other tips to improve your thinking. x

I like these guys. I would say im an intellectual. to deal with my problems I try rationale and logic intead of "breathe in and out " I am too aware and smart to shut off my mind and treat myself with breath in and out. if you give me logic and reason and rationale of what I can do to cope that motivates me to reset my brain, make a plan and direct msyelf that way. my mind works to hard in trying to analyze with out any plan or solution and then I have no clear direction to move forward. so here you give good reasons on how to cope in a reasonable and logical way. I love that. fabulous. I need to sleep and I can bring the 5 steps you brought previously. the big one was where is the danger. protection attack. assure myself. but I need to make a plan as this covis situation brought on uncertainty for me for the future. losing my career being a low end minimum wage job. feeling trapped there working evenings. so I can feel reassured if I can make a plan. set timelines for myself to get out. that will motivate me to go long distance. I dont need for the now, but I must see light in a certain direction in the future so I can follow that path.
