I have a question to ask, please I like to know as someone interested to come and study in Italy, what kind of document can you submit at the embassy for accommodation. You can submit hotel reservations? If not, what can you submit and how do you get to go about it. Thanks

Yes hotel reservations are accepted

Yes hotel reservations are accepted however most embassies further ask about where you intend to stay in Italy during studies and by that I mean they will label the hotel reservation as “ not a suitable accommodation for your studies “. In such instances( which I have seen a lot with most incoming students I guided) you will need a month or 2 of a real accommodation in Italy 🇮🇹 with a rental contract. Not all embassies do that but some do

@zcsolutionstv It depends on the landlord. Most accommodation sites like Uniplaces also make it possible for landlords to give contract. Getting the contract directly from the landlord while outside is nearly impossible if not through your University’s international office.

20 days is till within the timeframe so don’t be worried. Beyond a month and half is when you can start getting worried. Students are advised to apply early as there are applications influx during this season ( Immediately before the academic year start Aug/September)

Really? The Embassy in Liberia has introduced that now?

Liberia doesn’t have an embassy but the designated embassy for Liberian students is the one in Cote D’Ivoire and they have started requested blocked account as the first means of proof of funds. This is for Liberian students, I’m not sure about others.
