+Aquasaurus Rex I think what he meant was to be less inconsistent - Sure, pro players are inconsistent as well, but there's a way smaller margin for their inconsistency. The back-side of that is that they're playing against way better players, so they tend to look like being extremely shit at the game when they're having a bad day. Why is that? Because there's also way smaller margin of error in the pro-scene, one teammate might fuck up a smoke or a flashbang, which causes the whole team to die. It's very rarely seen in fucking matchmaking that a flashbang causes your whole team to die, sure it might be a bad flashbang, but usually not everyone in the team is going to die. That's just because matchmaking is pretty uncoordinated compared to team vs. team gameplay. This can fx. be seen on the way players choose their roles in matchmaking. "I go B, I go A, I go mid" etc. whereas in the team vs. team playstyle of CS:GO you hold specific spots. fx. one guy will always hold toxic barrels on B on overpass, another will hold short and be ready for a rotation.

5 tips for solo que: 1. Don't ever give AWP to your teammates, they most likely get killed first and you lose money + give the weapon to enemy team, give him instead p90 or something easy to use. 2. Focus on your game and keep your aim and look minimap sometimes to know what's going on, your teammates won't give you info coz u have AWP so they think you don't need info or are jealous. 3. Learn to noscope from close range (like 5-10 meters? away) since when u are on solo que and don't get info, you most likely don't have time to use pistol to kill the enemy (unless u are god with pistol) 4. Mute all kids and russians (unless u speak russian yourself) because they will whine and distract you and you lose your focus again. With AWP you must focus! 5. Use your own spots with AWP where u are comfortable and usually get kills easily, don't listen to your teammates who tell you to go on bad positions or to places you are not comfortable with AWP.

I don't agree. My rifling skills is what let's my game down. I'm not great with the M4's and an AK I'm average at best but when I get an AWP, I can just go ham. Moving around with the AWP is actually recommended in higher ranks, when always holding corners, you'll get prefired in the face. DONT ONLY BUY AWP! You are not a pro team, don't buy sidearms only to save for the AWP, you'll be useless. Use rifles. Never double zoom. When peeking with the AWP, zoom, walk around the corner EXCLUSIVELY with A or D, then press the opposite key when the enemy is in your sight. Shoot at the moment you are stood still between the counter strafe. LEARN TO FLICK, it is such an effective way to kill, don't AWP when you can't fucking aim.

You forgot that its highly recommended to play spots that have multi-frag possibilities with fallback options. You should be in positions where if you miss your shot you still have a fallback plan and won't be dead because of a few missed shots. Knowing in the back of your mind you are 100% fine if you miss a shot or two will also alleviate the mental pressure to hit those shots, thus making you actually hit them more consistently. Example: Car at long on d2 CT side. Take a shot on cat peek. Fall back a bit, go for another rail/catwalk shot. Fall back. Hold for a platform plants and force them to plant cat, etc.

Switch from another weapon then back quickly "by pressing 3 then 1"? No, double tap "q" fast, job done. Thats all, every single time. Also an ending tip you missed which I found hugely beneficial in my competitive days - sometimes you need to switch to the pistol mid firefight. It takes no time at all to fire off a quick hipfire snapshot before hitting the pistol key. Sometimes you'll get a kill or a leg hit and it will make your life so much easier, other times you won't but you haven't wasted any time and only spent 10% of your AWP mag capacity which you almost never reach anyway, especially if you're needing to quickly pull out a pistol as an AWPer.

i just did a aim training and i realised that the awp has a pretty acurate hipfire, i zoomed in on an enemy head unzoomed and shoot and 8/10 times it was a head shot. but later the accuarcy was suddenly really low. so tip learn where the crosshair should be and then you can try and start no scoping, its actually pretty easy if you dont move

Having a bad setup can also make awping and flicking difficult. I was using a laptop (connected to a bigger screen) which ran at 25fps and I kept on flicking too much or too little. I then bought my first computer and hooked it up to the same screen with the same mouse, DPI, screen resolution and sensitivity running at 150 fps and I had been insanely consistent with hitting insane flicks with the awp and caused me to rank up 4 times.

I see a shit load of comments regarding sensitivity. What i use, and have used for over 3.5k hours, and what i KNOW that alot of proffesional use is 400 dpi and 1.7-2.2. Try it out. The most important thing is that it feels good for you, but if you are used to alot higher or lower you might want to sit in DM for an hour or 2 do adjust. Becouse it will feel bad in the beginning, but once you learn to use it it´s great.

I agree with 9/10 , but the 10th one it's not ok , sometimes it's good to peak the bomb bcs he might be using a smoke , and if he uses the smoke then fast defuse + a flash that's 1 lost round . He can have 3 positions while defusing right center left , in 5 sec + runing you only have like 1 shot with awp so 33% to get the kill .

Another tip that I see some newer and less skillful players should need is to pre-scope angles/spots. To many times i've seen people running around with the awp unscoped and rely on their reaction speed to get the flickshot when they can be already be scoped in for an easy kill.

I wanted to get better at rifling and I've notice that I cant really move in a 180 degree direction when an enemy is behind so I changed my sens and took a break for 2-3 months now i cant even properly flick on opponents like i used to

Guys if you want to get better at aiming and flicking with the awp got to settings and change the scoped sensitivity to 0.81, this will make it the same sensitivity as unscoped such as with a rifle and make flicks much much easier. Take it from me and try it for a few games mainly if you are a rifler, I'm a rifler and this is how I learned to awp pretty well as a secondary role. Give it a try and tell me if it worked for you too, I'm not sure if this will work for someone who already plays mainly as an awper as you will be more used to your scoped sensitivity than unscoped.

Number 8 works for me im an awper in my team and I play VERY aggressive and it usually works because the mostly think that I'm playing passively

I am a very defensive AWPer, which I thought was bad, I see VERY aggressive awpers ending up doing well for some unknown reason. Also so hard to stay calm when people shout in your ear, every time I play and I have to clutch people fucking SHOUT like maniacs so I play aggressively because I am to distracted to be passive.

Instead of spamming 3 1 to switch in and out of the scope just press Q twice. I feel like this is a given but for newer players this could really help
